This is my talent build for my Warrior tank.

I have gone for 3/0/58 talent build. All talents have been filled up in protection apart from Improved Shield Wall and Improved Bloodrage and I placed the 3 talent points in Arms for Improved Heroic Strike. since each heroic strike now is worth 9 rage instead of 123 rage also having full points in Improved Sunder Armor and Disarm is beneficial.

The build I have is pretty good if I do say so myself.

My RL mate has a Warrior Tank too. Only he has 6 points in Fury (5 on cruelty and 1 on Booming Voice) and has no points on Improved Shield Wall, Tactical Mastery
and Improved Bloodrage. so he has gone for the +5% crit chance whilst in defensive stance which can also be beneficial for rage build up as on my warrior my crit chance is very low (6.52% to be exact).

Hope this helps =)

i'd have to say that taking imp disarm, imp taunt, and imp revenge instead of deflection and imp tclap is dubious at best.

Unless you have a debuff bot not taking imp TC and imp DS is foolish. DS isn't as vital but imp TC is a must have for any warrior tank unless as stated before you have a debuff bot keeping it up for you.

Check my build in my armor profile in my sig. That is your basic prot build.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you.

Shield Mastery > Imp Demo Shout.

Demo Shout gives a flat AP reduction that doesn't scale.

Shield Mastery gives a 30% bonus to your block from your shield, which does 2 things. It blocks more reducing the amount of damage you take and it increases the amount of damage (and then in turn threat) done by Shield Slam.

You took Imp Shield Bash, which is ok for most 5 mans, but not beyond that. Starting in Karazhan you will find an increasing amount of mobs that can have their spells interrupted, yet are immune to silence.

You didn't take Imp Taunt which means 1 of 2 things. You run with really good DPSers or You run with really bad DPSers. If you manage to find people who do great damage and are smart enough to never pull off you, then Imp Taunt is indeed useless to you. Likewise, if you have people who don't know how to play their class to the max and you are in the top of the damage meters as the tank, then Imp Taunt is useless to you. Taunt for many people seems to be taboo, as only bad tanks "need" it. Stuff will get pulled off you. Imp Taunt just helps rectify situations that break down.

You didn't take Imp Def Stance. I was going to elaborate further into this, but you have no need for it quite yet. However, after getting slapped around by Hydross for a while, I will gladly take any spell damage reduction I can get. Most tanks won't really need it though, so neccessary for 5 man tanks.
