Havent seen this nifty trickFollow

Been a frost mage my whole mage career. AOE spec= good times, but now I'm lvl 65 and aoe has taken a backseat to questing in outlands(the farthest seat back possible, like in the trunk). I have found this trick helps me to single kill mobs.I launch a few frostbolts till mob is on me. Frostnova and back up just out of mellee reach. Cast frostbolt and about 1/2 way through cast time start to spam either cone of cold or fireblast. The goal is for both spells to hit target at the same time and with points in shatter you can get around the old nerf of 1 crit breaking frostnova by hitting frozen target with 2 spells at the same time. I will tell you that the majority of the time both of these spells will crit. I have been having better luck with the instant fire spell over Cone of cold (I dont know why as I am a frost mage but whatever). This is probably an old trick but its new to me and I haven't seen it posted so hope you find it as handy as I do.

if u wanna kno some actual good tricks for bgs try jumping of a ledge in WSG turning and blinking on the same ledge u jumped off of its preety sweet when u have the flag and u fake out 3 horde


...or when u come out of the tunnle go to thr right side and blink to the left and get back a little and it looks like u just vanished into thin air

you would need quite a disparity between your +frost and +fire dmg for fireblast to be less efficient than CoC on a single target... you're basically relying on crits though a "weaker" fireblast might just be better anyway for the cheaper cost. with nova on cooldown, it would seem prudent to conserve CoC in case of a need for sudden crowd control.

Using fireblast or cone of cold in pve is a bad ideea. bad mana conservation.
just stick to frostbolts and remember this trick in pvp or when you NEED a mob dead fast (when 2 other mobs are on you).
