This is excellent if ur a fire mage and ur lvl 40. If you have combustion and blastwave ofcourse. Just put on combustion, mount and run into like 4 humanoids, freeze, do 2 flamestrikes, and blastwave and they are practically dead.
while combustion isn't quite the best tool for AoE, the style is very similar to elemental AoE builds just with less control.
and ultimately, i think control is more important for AoE than damage is.

That sounds interesting.. I'm going to try it =) Fractal, what you say is right but beside the point.. the thread is about fire aoe, not best aoe.
Wouldn't be worth it, too few mobs to go to the trouble of aoeing them.
Frost nova+blastwave with a shatter/ignite spec can work much better in fire based aoe imo.

ive tried fire aoe grinding its not that great but it can be done its also a lot more dangerous you will die about 50% of the time with 5 or more mobs not nearly as effective as frost aoe grinding.
