I just hit lvl 29 with my lock, and only used Drain Health a couple times when I first got it! Acually, I've been rather busy just pounding the bad guy with others casts while my minion did it's thing....Am I missing something?

Also, I want to tweek my Warlock for the BG. Any advice would be nice!

Thx

put 2 points into soul siphon, and 5 points into fel concentration, cast fel armor and you will be a life draining maniac. the key is to use a succubus to help do damage. dot it up, and by the end, you should be at full health.

I think you mean drain life rather than drain health. Jebadia is correct, once you get 5/5 into fel concentration you won't get interrupted as much when you drain life. I use it on every fight as it keeps my health up.

If you let your pet tank for you, then you can life tap (which takes your health and turns it into mana), then you can drain life to get your health back up.

Now, just so you aren't confused by what Jebadia said with Fel Armor, you won't get Fel Armor until level 62 so disregard that statement for a while.

1. The guy is level 29. No Fel Armor for another 33 levels.

2. The guy is using the "hunter" playstyle. Fel Concentration is not as useful there.

3. Use Life Tap and Drain Life to keep your mana and health pools up at all times. Makes for the most efficient fighting as you never have to sit and drink or eat.

4. Haven't done much BG fighting on my Warlock, but some things to remember would be to never stand still, never stand in front and apply your instant casts to as many targets as possible. Every bit counts.

Mazra got it right for bg. Never stand still.. put all of your dots on everyone that you can see. There is no reason to stand still when you have a huge assortment of insta cast dots, well except to fear people, and when i find myself in a 1v1, ill stop to cast soulfire or a SB or two

I WSG alot, havent really started doing the other bg's yet. But in wsg, i assist the flag carrier.. run into flagroom, and HoT (If theres anyone in there).. flagman gets the flag, and we book it.. (dotting up everyone i see as well) anyone getting close to the flagman get a big ol dose of fear, plus a wonderful assortment of DOTs on them, and since im an alchemist, i also give the flagcarrier a swiftness pot or two.. just in case.

EDIT: sorry i didnt answer you question fully.. Also as a lock in BG's your gonna want alot of stamina (most locks do). But dont cut out on your int though.. Personally i have about 2k more mana, then hp. but i dont care about dying if i can get my dots on everyone and do acouple of fears to help out others who are keeping the attention of the enemy.
