Farsight and its range?Follow

Greetings Shamans,

The range on this spell is identified as "unlimited". I am having difficulty using this spell however. Is it limited to a view of anything on the minimap, or can I effectively use this to view a remote location anywhere on the map?

Your Shamanic advice would be greatly appreciated.

if you increase your draw distance (video options), you can see farther and thus use this ability farther.

additionally, you can go even farther than you can see. stick far sight on your hotbar, we'll say it's number 1. use it once, then while in the far sight mode, put your mouse over an even farther location that you can see when in far sight, hit the number 1 and then click immediately. I've "chained" far sight from thunder bluff into ashenvale using this technique.
