Hello. I am new to the game and was wondering about training for spells.

Mage has three lines available to them; Arcane, Fire, and Ice. Is it possible to have every spell for each line, or do you have to specialize?

Also, what are talent points? I'm just a little confused.

I realize that you buy your spells, so I don't see why you couldn't buy them all. I just want to make sure so that later in the game I haven't spread myself to thing or something odd.

I want to be mainly Fire, but some spells look good in the other lines. I see people speaking of Fire mages, so do you have to specialize, or is it a matter of having enough money to purchase spells.

Thanks for any help on this issue.

Just because you put your talents in Fire doesn't mean you don't buy Frost and Arcane spells. I'm not saying you would do that >.> but that's not what your supposed to do. Talents are just so you can have more strength is spells you like. I, myself, like the damage from fire spells, but a lot of stuff in the Arcane talents are pretty nice. Imporved Mana Shield, one I want to put points into, makes it so you take about 75% damage to your mana, which is nice because I have about 250 health and 900 mana at 16.

Anyways, to make things short, to make yourself a good mage, youll buy all your spells, eventually.

Ok. That answers my questions about spells.

Now, how does one spend thier talents points? Maybe I haven't come to that point yet, but haven't seen anything about allocation of talent points.

Thanks for your help on the previous question.

When you level from level 10 and above, you will gain a talent point, from here you can either press N, or click the target button at the bottom of your screen in your menu buttons.
