duel or two handedFollow

Here is a question to all the hunters do you all use two handed sword or axes or do you duel with two 2 handed swords or axes or daggers and which one is better?

For pve I would say , go with what you find / buy / create / etc. Dmgwise going dual wield or using a 2hander it's usually the same (same level weapons ofcourse). Statwise it's usually the same aswell. So unless you're fixated on either of these 2 , just go with whatever you want.

I myself rather want to dual wieldbecause , 1) It looks better IMHO :D and 2) I like to hit faster. But should I find a 2hander with quite some more dmg (and around same stats as the 2 1handers) then I would switch to that.

Ofcourse you're hardly ever in melee mode (unless you're making a melee hunter:D) , but if you do , you should get the best melee dmg you can get IMHO.

For pvp people tend to go for 2handers , mainly because of the 24% chance to hit less (wingclip missing can be a real pain in the ***).

With 2 weapons you do hit more then with a 2hander. Sure you get the 24% chance to miss , but if you have 2 weapons with 1.80 speed , or a 2hander with 3.60 speed , you'll see that you will hit more often with the 2 weapons. Statisticly speaking ofcourse.

If you could attack 1 oponent for 72 seconds you would hit your oponent 80 times with 2 * 1hand weapons (penalty not yet calculated). With the 2hander it's 20 times.

80 - (80 / 100 * 24) = 60.8 times you hit with 2 * 1handers.
20 - (20 / 100 * 5) = 19 times you hit with your 2hander.

Even if you had 2 1handers with a speed of 2.00 , and a 2hander with a speed of 2.00 , the 2 weapons would hit more often.

Also , dmgwise 1handers ofcourse aren't on par with 2handers. But 2 1handers are on par with a 2hander. Ofcourse weapons with around same level reqs.
