yeah i just obtained level 28 and i go to the trainer in orgimmar and there is a ability called Aimed Shot (rank 2), Does anyone know where i can get Aimed shot (Rank 1) so that way i can get rank 2?

The first rank is a talent. You can only upgrade it via the training if you have the talent from the marksmanship tree.
btw... some ppl say that this skill is the best... but it's not...
since it's only good when and if it does cit hit... and even with my talent all in the cit and cit dmg +
I do more dmg doing normal shots then waiting for +4 sec and shoting a shot that drain lot of mp!

When you get aimed shot up to rank 3 and higher you'll notice it's quite nice. A rank 3 AS boosts the dmg by 200 already. And if you use this as your opening shot , you do some nasty starting dmg already. The higher ranks do even more dmg. I would say AS is a really nice shot to start your killing with. Both pve and pvp. After that the timer will ***** you over. :D

Rank 4 does 330 more dmg.
Rank 5 = 460 dmg
Rank 6 = 600 dmg.

yes it says it will add 200 dmg to your normal shot but... most of the time you will get 213-220 ish dmg!
and my normal shot does 150-180!
sure with a cit hit it will go up to 600-700 but that is realy rare and i don't realy rely on that.
what I mean is hunter are the worst mp to dmg class. all that mp used and you hope to make a cit hit :( and in that time you wait you can do just as much or more dmg with out using mp.
and this is not just me that feel that Aimed Shot is not adding dmg right.
it sould do 200+150 dmg! but... no..

I do know armor is a factor in here (I wish they made the +dmg from aimed shot ignore armor totally :D) , but every little more dmg as your first shot is nice. Except when you're in an instance with pulling. :D But then you're not using AS to begin with. :D

pull using rank 1 skill of any thing you want... (acane shot for me) so you will pull but get the low agg...
...pulling with aimed shot... sorry not a good idea when in a pt and in a instance -_-;; it takes war some time to get the mob off... sure :D i can do the dissange skill but :D LOL
lets let the big bad tank war get the agg :D to let them happy

Warriors must realy suck at tanking then, my pet can hold hate off an aimed shot easy.
Also why are we conserned about taking agro. we have the 2nd best amour and 1/2 a dozen abilities to help us run or lose agro, we shouldn't be pulling our punches because we are scard of getting attacked.
Aimed shot is a good opening attack. however it's best use is in PvP, as it dosn't give them enough time to heal/potion. also useful when u need to save arrows as it gives the best arrow to damage ratio. Also we are talking about 1 talent point here so realy for what it costs ya it is a very good ablilty.

I use Aimed Shot as an opener for all my battles. I find that I crit every 3rd to 5th fight. So I have no complaints there. Though I'm and AGI ***** so that may influence my crit rate.
