you need to be lvl 40 and talk to a guy in stormwind cathedral...that's all..way too easy imo.

Does anyone know what the nameof the quest is? I just hit 40 an di would like to get my mount. Also does anyone have information on what you are to do.

Actually the quest for a mount for Paladins begins in Ironforge. You must speak with the paladin trainer in Ironforge who will then direct you to Durothian Hall in the cathedral in Stormwind. Speak with him and you will obtain your new mount.

I know that you do not need to go to Ironforge first, simply go to the Paladin in stormwind that normally gives out the paladin quests. To answer the other question, no, you do not need to learn riding to use your paladin mount. It is very easy now, but I think they will eventually put in a real quest.
