Do cats get dual wield?Follow

#1 Dec 21 2004 at 8:12 AM Rating: Decent
I read on worldofwarcraft.com that cats learn dual wield upon hitting lvl 20, just like hunters. Can anyone with a lvl 20+ cat confirm this?

All pets only learn pet skills. the only pet skills are cower, claw bite and growl.

BTW where on worldofwarcraft.com did you read that, i was there earlier(and I am most days)and have never seen anything that says that

I'm not too clear on this but I have a guess.

Did you mean dual wield in terms of getting both claw and bite? If so yes they do. I believe raptors also get both claw and bite, but I do not know of any other pets that do at the moment.

I'm not sure exactly what thread, but it was on the Hunter forums. It was a while back, so maybe somewhere around page 13 or so.

And no I meant dual wield like we get, as in using both paws to hit. I guess technically he COULD hit with both paws and it be considered dual wield, whilst the dps and overall dmg remained the same. Maybe that's what that thread was talking about.

Reading around the euro beta boards... apparently cats could dual wield untill the latest patch (in euro beta anyway) but it has been removed

Cats hit extremely quickly. They don't hit as hard as some creatures, but their attack speed makes up for it. In some sense, I guess you could say they dual wield, but not technically, no.

cats are great pets. since they will disrupt spell casting more then raptors!

I love my raptor but... thinking of geting a cool cat. little less dps but more hit, much better for pvp.
