Sword/sheild better for PvP the 2H???Follow

alright i use a sword and a shiled because i think that in pvp it would be better for the fact u can block arrows/stop casters with sheild bash, and u just plainly dont get hit as much. An arnt rouges suppose to do the most dmg? so i think that as a warrior im suppose to just sit there and get beat while everyone else kills w/e it is where attacking. ANy thoughts on witch is better?????
