vs. Undead?Follow

I am considering warlock or rouge and I was just wondering since you guys have a lot of debuffs (newb statement :), and since undead mainly are resistant against debuffs. What do you do against any undead class?

I'm assuming you're talking about Will of the Forsaken, which allows for an immunity to Fear, Sleep, and Charm...

Well its an ability first off, which means you have to activate it, and it only lasts 20 seconds with a 2 minute cooldown timer. The trick is staying alive for the 20 seconds while it IS active, and that all depends upon which class it is that your fighting.

Undead Rogues are especially difficult here because if you've lasted 20 seconds in a fight with a rogue, you've already won. A couple ways around it would be to either Sacrafice your Voidwalker, and go full out damage while that shield is up, or to use a maxed out Curse of Exhaustion or some Engineering snares to slow your opponent down long enough to kite them around until it wears off.

That's just off the top of my head though, there are probably other methods, like spell-lock vs. casters with Felhunter, but it's all just theory. I'm rambling now, so I'll just quit while I'm ahead.

Simple, go Hoarde then you don't have to fight the Undead. ;) Rogues in general are pretty tough, because they hit so fast they can really ***** up your casts. If you see them coming, no problem, even if they go invis, you can stay away from them. I usually have my Succubus up, and if the rogue get's the drop on me I try and seduce them with the Suc (Heh). Even if they are undead, if you can stay alive long enough using your health stone, curse of weakness, etc, you may be able to get them charmed. Once they are charmed, your odds are pretty good. Then it just becomes the regular, fear, dot, blast away fest. You won't win everytime, but that's what makes it exciting.

Thanks so much I realize that since I'm prolly going hoarde(unless i want to try out pally ;)) I won't have to worry about that. I just wanted to know if i do (and probably will) go undead what warlocks would do to kill me. Thanks so much again!

I love being an undead warlock, I never have to worry about this. The Will of the Forsaken is an awesome racial ability.

heres how to kill a rogue, you pop voidwalkers sacrafice ability, fear the rogue, cast curse of agony, immolate then follow up with corruption, and drain life if they damaged you

follow up with another fear as needed. then when the rogue realizes hes in trouble because hes messed with a warlock that knows whats up and starts to run like a *****, hit em with curse of exhaustion if you have it to slow their movement and shadowbolt them to death.
