Hand to Hand weapon fun!Follow

Ok, I'm a Night Elf Druid. At around 12th level I went to Darnassus and decided to pickup a new weapon skill -- only 1 was "trainable" from the weapons trainer -- Hand to Hand.

Ok, now I have this skill... Need a weapon right?

Weapon vendor there -- about 2nd or 3rd page -- sells brass knuckles so I bought 1 (for primary hand -- can't dual wield so couldn't get one for off hand).

Well you hit FAST! I don't mean fast, I mean FAST!

I could keep up and out pace hits from the cats around the area there and skilling up... maxed it real quick.

The DPS rate from it and it's overall damage don't look so hot but I know I used a much more powerful staff for a while there and I got beat up a lot more with it than these brass knuckles...

Next I'm going to pick up a dagger for fun and see what happens.

I was using a staff myself for a while, until I realized that with the long attack times vs. how frequently I was casting, I wasn't actually attacking in melee very much.

I switched to a dagger, and my DPS went up a fair amount - I would usually get at least a strike or two in while I waited to cast another spell.

Low delay weapons are the way to go!

Yes, Ive been experimenting with both dagger and h2h, and I must say low delay weapons are excellent for a class. I ditched my staff for h2h

I have been reading the Druid forums at Blizzard and it appears H2H benifit feral combat as well.

Does a tauren Druid get to train in Dual weld after you hit 11 in unarmed?

You can train H2H in Thunder bluff, ask any guard where to find the weapons master he's not that far from the entrance at all.

Thanx I found the trainer for H2H he was in Ogrimar though, the one in TB only offers me 2h mace
