Wildstar is a pretty @#%^ing large game... 2GB downloaded and I'm at 11%.

18 GB isn't too bad.

Battlefield 4: 25 GB
Payday 2: 25 GB
World of Warcraft: 24 GB
Hitman Absolution: 23 GB
DC Universe Online: 22 GB

Interestingly, EVE Online is only 12 GB. Smiley: eek

Oh I completely agree, it can just be hard to get on the same page there.

As for games, EVE gets a LOT of bang for its buck on textures and such, because of the nature of its environments.

My almost-five-year-old daughter is smarter than I am. We're watching The Goonies right now, and it's at the scene where they find Chester Copperpot and she looks up at me and asks who reset the traps? I've watched this movie a million times and I hadn't once even considered that.

Just wait, she's only five.

It's like watching a kitten playing with a toy mouse. It doesn't know why it stalks and leaps, it comes naturally. It's millions of years of evolution, hundreds of thousands of generations of stalking prey and making the kill. Just wait until she hits her teen years.

On that note, my 23yo daughterpredator gave me a new reason to "borrow" money this week. She didn't realize "I even had overdraft privileges and when I deposited my pay check it turned out I was $80.00 overdrafted and the bank took it from my check and now I don't have money for groceries or gas so can I please borrow like $100.00? I get paid on Saturday."

Meprey: "So, uh, does that last part about getting paid Saturday have anything to do with that first part?"

She needs to pay more attention to her finances.

Also, I just managed to blow through most of my money for the month in 2 days by ordering new shoes, new clothes and buying plane tickets to go to Scotland.

Also also, I tripped over one of my cats and kicked my toe into the door post. It's all swollen and purple now.

There's no pain too great that beer can't make you forget about until you sober up.

As far as my dilemma, I'm thinking about lead paint flakes mixed into her morning cereal.

beer will ease your pain.

not sure about the cat though, swollen and purple does not seem too health for a kitty

Of course the cat is fine. The cat is the one that set you up for injury in the first place.

They're horrible creatures but just when you start to dislike them a little they'll curl up in your lap and act all cute and adorable again.

At least cats are better pets than fish and ... like, turtles and insects and other crap you put into sealed environments for the entirety of their lives.

I like cats, but don't want to take care of one. Also travelling a lot makes it more difficult.

You can take snakes and tarantulas out of heir cages, the right ones anyway. Pretty interesting pets as well and less evil than cats.

But you don't really interact with a snake or tarantula, you just kind of get in the way of the direction they want to go. At least cats, dogs, ferrets and such kind of like to occasionally acknowledge you and play or hang out.

I found a bulk Italian food importer that will sell to individuals, so I can pick up amazing cheese and meat at really good prices. I need to buy a couple kg's at a time, but it's easy to find people to buy with.

Home made bacon is the best, and super easy to make too. Also cheap.
