Curves. A nicely proportioned figure trumps all else.

Also I like that highway pic a lot better then the last one. Loving the way the detail in the sky comes out.

Finally:

Quote:
Geithner told Congress that he estimates he has enough legal hoop-jumping tricks to cover them for another 11 weeks or so.

But then he said that's it. If lawmakers don't get it together by Aug. 2, the United States will no longer be able to pay its bills in full.

Anyone want to place bets on how long the circus lasts? I'm guessing somewhere around July 27th.

I don't know if that was a compliment or not, but since you put my name and 'win' in the same sentence, not even separated by a comma, I'm guessing it is.

......kinda.

Though I could go for a nice Celt too. :P

In other news, I just called to set up gas/electric for my new apartment, and the b*tch on the phone was complaining about the fact that I was using a cell phone.

1. I don't have a landline, because there's no reason to.
2. It's not my fault your online service sucks.
3. It's ESPECIALLY not my fault that you clearly have 60 people taking calls in one room, without dividers, so no one can hear crap.

And tell Therion his druid is a baddie.

But ya they the only horde Alla folks I know.

lol, well he doesn't really play his druid much right now. He's mostly been playing his DK (which is the toon we raid together with) and his lock, and his shaman a bit. He's got like five 85's I think, so yeah...

If you want to stalk me, you'd actually have to send me a tell or something. I have separate chat windows, and the trade window is one I only look at if I need something. I'm mostly on my priest right now, so she's the best bet.

I love good female stand up comics. I don't like it when they do the stereotypical female comic spiel though. Whitney Cummings in particular is bad at this. All her jokes are about men and women and relationships. How women are emotional and men don't like listening to women talk and all that crap. She does have some good lines, but that kind of stuff irks me.

I saw one of her specials recently...terrible.

I can't remember her name right now, and I'm not sure if she does standup, but check out "f*** me, ray bradbury" if you haven't yet.

Edit: rachel bloom

You're talking about Whitney Cummings, right? Yeah, she's not all that good imo. She wasn't even that funny on the roast she was on. I think it was the William Shatner one, but not positive. I'll check out Rachel Bloom, her name sounds familiar.

Also, as far as traits I like... I like a lot of stuff honestly. I love eyes, long hair, butts, backs, lips, well groomed facial hair... really it's hard for me to choose, but those are probably the top ones. I just love bodies in general. >.>

And I'm really not that picky, except for one thing. Teeth. I don't know why, but I can't abide icky teeth. They need to at least appear relatively clean. One of my guy friends from high school wanted me to give him his first kiss, and I couldn't bring myself to do it because of his teeth. And it wasn't even his fault. He's got a weird genetic thing where he has no enamel on his teeth. I lived with him for a few months, and he really does brush his teeth three or four times a day. He recently had all his teeth extracted and he's going to be getting either implants or dentures, not sure which.

Digg, I know a number of lovely gay Scotsmen. Also a South African, but he tends to go for the ones who think they're straight.

As for what I find attractive in people: The smell. It's extremely important to me how someone smells. I don't really have much in the way for standards as far as everything else is concerned; I tend to go for pretty faced people, but every body can be beautiful if everything else is right.

But a good mind wins over all, really. Seriously.

I second this. Personality is so much more important to me than looks. Except for the teeth thing. >.> I really can't get around that unfortunately. For me to be attracted to a person, they have to be intelligent (at least as intelligent as me, but bonus points if they're smarter), witty, able to make me laugh, kind, and it helps if we have a few interests in common: gaming, literature, music, theater, etc.

The only reason I listed just the physical traits is because Aeth specifically said body. I tend to view the body and mind as separate.

I couldn't date someone dumb. If you aren't intelligent enough for me to enjoy having a conversation with you, I REALLY don't want to spend time around you.

Though I don't think it really matters if they are as smart as me. For one thing, that would vastly truncate the list of eligible candidates, as the average human IQ is only about 100 (and mine is well above that).

It's more important to find someone reasonably intelligent who has similar interests to me and (preferably) isn't a linear thinker (because I'm not).

In theory, that shouldn't be that hard, because I have a LOT of interests--history, literature, politics, philosophy, science (pretty much everything), computers, etc.

Hell, the only things I'm just not interested in talking about are sports and workout regimes, lol.

The more of these interests you share, the better. And the higher your IQ, the better. That's up to a point though--I don't mind dating someone smarter than me at all, but I don't want to feel stupid in comparison. :P Of course they'd have to have a genius IQ (or at least really damn close to it) for that to happen.

I'd have trouble dating an artist or a musician though. I certainly enjoy the products of both fields, but I'm not really interested in what comes before the results. That's not to say I hate talking about it, of course. Just that the point at which I'm no longer interested is probably too low for a healthy relationship, if it is their primary interest.

You'd be surprised Digg. One of my good friends has a genius level IQ and you wouldn't know it by talking to her. She talks just like a normal person. I have no idea what my IQ is though, I've never had it tested.

People don't have to literally be as intelligent as me, just the appearance of being as intelligent as me. If I say something and you have a blank stare on your face or look confused, and that happens often, that's a turn off. I've only ever dated one person who I feel was less intelligent than me and it was frustrating. I swore after that that I would never do it again.

Funny thing was, it was during my freshman year of college, and I was having a rough time because of my dad passing away. My grades were not very good because of that. He was a music major and had all A's and B's. Because I didn't do well in school, he thought I wasn't capable of doing well. Despite the fact that I was taking standard undergrad requirement classes and he was taking **** like Keyboarding and choir. The only class he was taking that I imagine was reasonably difficult was music theory. When we first got together I tried talking to him about politics and other current events and he just couldn't participate. I felt like I was talking at him instead of with him.

It might limit my dating pool to be that particular about intelligence, but I'm okay with that. Besides, nerds are hot.

Oooh, and speaking of good smells, J has a really awesome cologne called Axe Labs. It's got pheromones in it and it is amazing. You know you've found a good cologne when it can stop strippers in their tracks. =x

Having someone smell good is definitely a plus, but it's not a huge thing to me. J doesn't really have a smell to me normally, but E does and it's awesome. From what I know of behavioral science and the science of attraction, that's a clue to our genetic compatibility. If a person has an attractive natural smell to you, that means that you have good genetic compatibility and if you have any children they'll be more likely to be born healthy, etc.
