Burger king for a second breakfast? No thanks.

I went into Iceland (that's the chavviest supermarket here, pretty much) today and bought 7 litres of Irn Bru, a kilo of carrots and a quiche, and paid with a gift voucher.

Irn Bru diet ftw! Two people at college today commented on how I'd lost weight!

The funny thing about that shopping trip was that Irn Bru and the carrots from Iceland are exactly the same colour. Spend £5.50 on orange food and £1.50 on some random other item, yay!

Wait, are the curtsies the reason I can't get a good job? D:

Kidding.

Here's pics. they aren't the best 'cause the only camera I have is my phone. For reference, here is a picture of my natural hair color from about three years ago. linky.

Long hair is pretty, I like your natural hair colour better though.

Im of the same opinion here.

Fair enough. :-) I wanted to lighten it up a bit for summer. Plus I haven't dyed my hair since October and I was getting restless.

Why do you tease me so?

Also, I just finished my first week of nightshifts. I feel like I might be dying, but hopefully the feeling doesn't last too long.

Do night shifts pay better?

Also, Irn Bru at Iceland (and currently on offer at Sainsbury's) is £1 for 2l.

And you really, really need to come back to Scotland!

I used to get an extra dollar an hour to work 11am -> 2am. Worst part was the downstairs neighbor at the time worked a 6am shift. I don't think either of us slept much... Smiley: lol

Just finished my essay and I think I can safely say that it is the worst piece of sh*t I've ever written.

But it's done. Now I just gotta hope I pass it.

Also, I'm running low on Fringe episodes and according to Wikipedia, the season 3 finale is going to bum me out. Good thing they renewed it for a fourth season. Too bad they don't start shooting it until July.

Good show, though. Love the Peter and Walter moments and alternate Fringe team is hilarious.

Edit: If J.J. pulls a LOST ending on this show, I'll sail to wherever he lives in my freakin' longboat and cleave some skulls!

Good luck.

I had to teach 7-year-olds about electric circuits. It was... interesting.

Make that Thursday and Photoshopping.
There's an elementary school nearby and they're doing a project week about photography, film and other media and two teachers asked us if we wanted to help so we'll be preparing 4 short workshops about photography. One of those being about photoshopping and altering digital images which is what I'll be doing.
So I'm going to be showing them some of what we do with photos first and then I'll take a group photo of the group (about 12-16 kiddos and 8 different groups throughout the day) and then I'll be doing things like adding cat ears, bunny nose, tiger stripes, a crown, making their eyes large, changing their hair colour or skin colour etc. whatever they want to do and after about 25 minutes they'll go to their next workshop and I get a new group.

Then we'll print the edited group photos and they'll be able to show their parents during the presentation of their project week thing.
Basically, I hope to make a lot of 7 year olds laugh and teach them a little about what happens to photos before they get published in a magazine.

In the other three workshops they'll be photographing each other, playing with lights and long shutter speeds and we'll turn an entire classroom into a camera obscura so they can get a look "inside the camera".

Dragon beer is good beer! Wheee!

Also, chicken with bacon wrapped around it and plenty of herbs is good company for dragon beer.

And I'm a tipsy. I like being tipsy.

It also had cheese and sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are jummy.
Also, two 10.5 ABV dragon beers might've been a little more than I should have had but the first one was gone way before I finished my food. Smiley: frown

You should add grainy mustard to that, Æeth. What cheese do you use?

And bah, all my friends I normally talk to have exams tomorrow and are thus revising. I'm bored.

You should go with bright pink pigtails. Smiley: nod

And no, that's not because of your length and female gnome haircut but because I think it would look both cute and funny.

I'm thinking of doing something with my hair.

Also, I'm utterly fascinated by proton environments.
