Tbh, it's really just a coordination fight, as most of the dps issues can be resolved by managing your orbs better in p1. What are y'all having difficulty with?

Ok, wasn't sure if you'd been stuck on him for awhile or if you just stepped in. Having an exceptional MT, in order to move him without getting the raid swiped and to position the orbs better along with having a DK who can recognize where they are spawning from, and when they need to be gripped, should be an immeasurable help.

During p2, focus firing the disc-mobs, and the speed at which melee can get to the air and start dpsing, will also determine how well the encounter goes.

For p3, dps should be using a 1-1-2 rotation, as the amount of fire blasts(or whatever the CP generating ability is called) you do, only increases the duration of the DoT, not the damage done. So for the more stacks you put on, the more damage you're doing. Also ensure that you're keeping energy queued, so you are able to use the shield.

It's a fun encounter, but tbh, I was hoping for something more along the lines of when the first Vashj and Kael content patches came out. The only really challenging encounter I've seen was 3-drake Sartharion.

Honestly, the only challenging fight so far in the expansion. It was pretty fun though.

Finally got a night of no lag, and 25 members to show up, downed Maly and got the chest from it. 10/10 expertise just from that.

I got a new high for dps last night: 3111 on 25-man (pugged) Vault of Archavon. It's the first time I've broken 3000 dps on any fight, mostly because it's the only 25-man fight I'm doing these days.

Not really an accomplishment, but I noticed Mut damage being lower last night than normal, did this occur to anybody else? At first I thought it was just lag, but I noticed a rogue in another guild that normally does really high dps lower than normal, and his raid raids when nobody else on my server does. Did the double poison proc from mut make that big of a difference?

Every now and then...I think he's keeping to the DK forums mostly though. : /

Has nothing to do with me at all, but I wanted to say Congrats to Therion for making Guru. I know I have personally learned the most from him and Theo's posts. Too bad Theo is hilariously an ahole to people or he would be there too.
