Wow.... in two raid nights my new guild's gone 4/5 in Hyjal, and 7/9 in BT. Going back for Council and Illidan this weekend.

Therion, you need to fix your gems!
You're going to do more DPS with straight hit in your shoulders, gloves, and chest. Those socket bonuses aren't worth it.
You can also change your boots to hit, but that won't be as big of a change.
T6 pants aren't an upgrade over your current pants until you can go to 4pc (and even then badge pants may be better), and with the socket in your helm and the purple in the pants, you've got your socket bonuses covered.
You should really replace the orange in your pants with a Lionseye, too.
You really only need 2x purple gems in PvE gear unless you're going for socket bonuses, and orange gems should only be used if you're at the hit cap or if you're getting a red socket for a bonus.
But yeah, AP isn't a good enough socket bonus, and stam (your chest) definitely isn't.
Edit: You'll be up to 268 hit if you just regem your gloves, chest, shoulders, and pants. Your boots are fine since you guys are downing Shahraz and you should see the boots off her soon.

Yeah, you're absolutely right.
To explain: While I was stuck in t5 content I got into the habit of having a set up for trash and switching out some pieces for bosses, which I'm starting to think is a bit silly. I logged out in my current trash gear. For boss fights I'm switching out the neck, rings and Hourglass (for Romulo's) which, with food buff, puts me at 363.
Honestly, I've gotten 4 upgrades in two nights and I may have been a bit hasty in gemming them with what I had immediately available. (Also more than a bit concerned about evasion tanking Reliquary with low Agi, but that's a side note.) Haven't really had a chance to calculate what to do for having only 1 set of gear for trash and bosses compared to what I'm doing now by switching. Tonight and tomorrow are non-raid nights so I can run some dailies, twiddle with the math and figure out just what the hell I need to do.
Lame excuse is lame... but it's true: Switching guilds, seeing new content and scoring major upgrades all in three days has got me a bit screwy. ;)
*edit: Logged out again in my boss gear after regemming the new shoulders.... 30 wasted badges. Guess I need a kara run this weekend :)

Picked up shard of azzinoth and t6 chest today. Ran around in a few wsg's and spammed shiv on everybody. Actually topped the damage chart in most of them surprisingly. Had up to 3 embers at a time XD

Just hit 1800 in 2v2 with my disc priest friend and snagged myself the vengeful OH, im EXTREMELY happy as ive never been over 1800, and everytime we'd be 1 win off, i'd get sapped or something lol
My guild ran Karazhan again last night and we cleared everything first time, no wipes. We even got through Illhoof without a warlock or pally to AOE the imps. No drops for me but I topped the damage chart on Nightbane - first time I've been top of the dps for any boss fight in my current guild.
This is a real achievement for me because our raid leader, a hunter, has better gear than me and a lot more experience of raids. Also, I'm short of an enchant so next run I should be even better.

Got quickening blade of the prince and shoulderpads of the silver retainer on my first heroic mgt run :D(right after I left my raiding guild), but lost my partner right when we could hit 1600 in 2s arena. No s4 chest for me:( 3s is looking fairly promising though...

I'd have replaced that damn Hourglass ages ago if the Shard of Contempt dropped in any of the 20+ MgT runs that I've done.
You should've heard the anguish over Vent when I won it. Both rogues and all three hunters rolled on it, as well as our fury warrior, kitty druid and enhancement shaman (Yes, I roll with a full melee group. You may continue being jealous). Not only that, but even after winning it, I'm still highest in Priority amongst the DPS.

Got my beserker's call in ZA, only rolled a 61 but the heavens above were with me today and they made the others roll under 61 :D!!!
I got my T5 shoulders and gloves. Gloves are quite nice.

Got the AP trinket from Brewfest boss. Its supposedly a one DPS upgrade according to the spreadsheet so...we'll see.
Get to use a macro for it with Blade Flurry since they're on the same timer which is fun though.

In other news, I finally got my brother to play feral/rogue with me, and we went 9-3 in our first 12 games played together. We didn't really know how to handle lock/rogue, which is why we kinda failboated against two lock/rogue teams.

Not a great deal of news considering the other achievements some of you have gotten. I have leveled with my friend (holy pally) to level 52 in less than 2 days played time using the refer a friend triple xp bonus.
Just because it felt good. I am going to tell you about this human rogue. She tried to kill my friend while riding into WPL from Tirisfal Glades. He screams in party chat help, and I told him to bring him toward me.
I was in stealth and destroyed the level 57 rogue while she wasn't expecting me to be there.
Funny thing is she was ShS. Her cheat death procced, and I just laughed at how wasteful it was.
