About Ascension

Ascension is a new Free Company for the MMO, FFXIV located on server Brynhildr. As Heavensward approaches around the corner, this opens new doors and opportunities, we at Ascension find this opportunity to allow us the chance to be at the forefront of this upcoming expansion. Ascension's main focus as a free company will be PvE progression. Ascension will also put focus on Role-play, for the gamers interested in lore and story driven gaming. Role-play, as always, is never required. Ascension is split into departments to keep itself organized. Each department (PvE and Lore) has their own officer in charge of scheduling events, running events, and maintaining a top ranked status in their field. Members of Ascension choose which department(s) they wish to join and participate in. It is the department leader's job to make sure their department is pushing a "progressive" mentality and striving to be the best in the game at what they do. This ensures that our members are happy. Additionally, as a free company, we seek to provide our members with the tools and opportunities they deserve to get maximum enjoyment from this MMO. We are a semi-hardcore guild which plans to balance a casual friendly atmosphere with a hardcore atmosphere.

Recruitment

Are you interested in Ascension? If you think Ascension is the right free company for you, here is some of our requirements.

- Teamspeak 3 is required from those that wish to be part of Ascension's raid teams. Having a mic is not, but having the ability to listen is crucial. TS3 is not required to be in Ascension.
- Be an active member of the free company and contribute to FC events, raids, and so forth.

Events

As we know from experience, after playing any type of game for an extended period of time. The feeling of “boredness” and etc. get a hold. That’s why Ascension is committed to shaking things up on a bi-weekly basis with new and fresh FC events!
