Who we are!

The Shadow Society is a easy going group of people who have come from various MMO and single player games. The Shadow Society was originally formed from the [HAWKS] guild on the Everquest 2 Grobb server back in 2006 and has been seen in many forms around the MMO multiverse. We currently play both Everquest II on the Everfrost server and Guild Wars 2 on the Fort Aspenwood server, while we wait patiently for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. If you are looking for a fun group of people to play games and win with. A long standing gaming community with solid Leadership for years. We are your Linkshell.

Our goal

Building a strong and friendly guild with a solid close community that will thrive while maintaining a positive outlook and strong progression ability. Each individual is encouraged and expected to show the motivation to better themselves in order to benefit the entire guild so that we may all play to the best of our ability as a group. In addition, each participant will be expected to set a positive example and maintain a respectful atmosphere for all guild members. Be helpful and encourage each other (be a TEAM player). This includes, showing up to guild events on time and prepared, and offering criticism in a constructive and respectful way. With all that said this is intended to be a fun and friendly atmosphere. Whats the point of playing a "game" if your not having fun?

What we expect out of our members

Guild members act within the values and policies of the guild. They participate in solo and guild activities. They may volunteer to help the guild leaders or council members or contribute time, knowledge, resources, or credits to guild projects. They might offer feedback to the guild leaders and council members on guild matters. Guild members play a wide variety of roles, and their presence and participation are essential to a well-functioning, strong guild. The most important thing a members does is to show up ready to have fun.

Yeah we currently have about 18 people coming over too FFXIV with us in August, About half of those played 1.0, on Palacmicia. Hopefully we will get a few more apps in the next weeks before launch. Allot of people are looking forward to ARR and have pretty much stopped playing all their other games in anticipations...I had a few Priv messages asking if we were trying to recruit for other games in the FFXIV forums, I simply told them no, this is not the case, our default game we all have toons in is Eq2, which is where we are waiting out our time till launch. Hope you will consider us :)
