If you wish to join us at Stroke of Luck, here are some common views we share:
1. Drama free.
2. Happy to have the company of new and veteran players alike.
3. Casual with a family feeling atmosphere.
4. Has events/activities scheduled or frequent enough that keeps the LS fun.
5. Willing to try new methods.
6. Doesn't require voice chat functions. (We know people enjoy voice chat features and we don't have anything against players who use them, but we just like to type. A few LSs I have tried I told them it's how I played in FFXI and I wasn't left out, but for some reason some linkshells don't allow for people to play this way and so I haven't been able to experience all FFXIV has to offer for this reason. This is one purpose Stroke of Luck wishes to fulfill, allowing typers to experience everything we can in Eorzea.)
7. Tries to group up when doing parties for leves/exp.
8. Interacts with old and new members.
9. Isn't dead silent. We try to chat when we can!
10. Willing to answer questions and help low and high level players alike.
11. Has kind members.

I'm just getting started in FFXIV. I NEVER see anyone doing anything on this server. Don't know why i didn't try the forums earlier... Agree with everything you said. Was a HNMLS leader in FFXI for years and know how horrible things can get when you have a few people starting drama or adopting elitist attitudes towards others in the LS. I also agree about voice chat. Seems like those on TS or whatever very quickly begin to ignore anyone typing in game and 2 separate "factions" develop and the LS splits. Anyways, 16 ARC/8 Fish/10 LNC/12 Cook so far is all i've got to offer but would love to hook up with some people to show me the ropes or just to talk to in game for that matter... Name is "Bane Steelrain" look me up.

Hi! Like your views. Like many others, I played for a couple months on release, took extended break, getting back into it just now. I have a casual style but would like to become more knowledgeable / get some experience in parties.

Greetings all,
I joined Stroke of Luck last week, and the people in the LS are great. Groups get formed all the time, someone is always willing to help, all in all a nice lil group. If you are playing on Karnak, and you are looking for a LS to join, I sincerely hope you will give Stroke of Luck a holler.

Just an update to add that Stroke of Luck is located on the Karnak server.
