Alright im at the end of chapter 2 and can not beat the big fat guy. Anyone got any tips on how to get around his damn nightmare move?
I could have swore I just saw another thread like this, oh and in before =22.

Have lot's of people with Raise or Phoenix Down abilities. Only way I beat him.

I had Ramza as a Monk/Squire, and a Dragoon/Squire. Two rounds and he was dead. (The others were just used as targets).

Before the fight, spread your characters far out on the placement grid thing so that at the beginning, his Nightmare won't hit all of your characters. Have some raises, phoenix downs, whatever you need to make sure that your characters aren't always dead. Having a Monk will help, as will also having a White Mage to heal and stuffs. Just keep attacking him and he'll eventually go boom.
I saced before all that and got some protect rings but now all he does is spam that damn biora move and the stone move. How much hp does this ***** have.

I don't think he has more than around 1000.
Ramza was doing about 300 a hit, and my dragoon only did 180ish.
