LifeGIVING or LifeBOUND Veil? (Mage-Chloro)Follow

I'm very new to the game and became confused on the mechanics of these two buffs so I guess I got a couple questions...

1. The tooltips are exactly the same except LifeGIVING says it's better for parties and LifeBOUND is better for Main Tank healing. I want to understand the reasoning behind this, if there is any? (numbers would help)

2. If they are indeed different, can I just use both then? (If not, why?)

3. Is there anything left out of the tooltip about Synthesis?

4. (Off-topic) Concerning natural awareness: Would heals or other chloro spells, such as Bloom/Flourish or Radiant Spores in particular, be considered "Life based" spells?

ill clear this up for u.

1. theres a HUGE difference. trion dumbed it down for ppl by removing the percentages of dmg converted to healing. lifegiving converts WAY more dmg to healing.

2. u can not use both. they overwrite eachother.

3. this is the point of lifebound veil being for tank heals. synthesis increases the dmg converted to healing on the target selected by.....if memory serves, the percentage was 160% with 3 points in natural fusion. on top of that, with lifebound veil active, natures touch and void life proc extra healing on the synth target.

4. yes. BUT NOT THE NECROMANCER HEALS THOSE ARE DEATH BASED

now, there is a neat little trick for mana regen for chloros in a raid setting if they ever need it. put synthesis on a tank (this will activate lifebound veil), wait for the cd, cast lifegiving veil. the synth will stay on the tank. now if u ever need a surge of mana, pop empathic bond. since tanks take a ton of dmg (it is their job after all), that ability will feed u 20% of that dmg in mana every time they take a hit.
