Mage most likely was always a tank player and I played a lock in WoW and loved it so im prolly gonna go that route with some achron and/or elementalist (presuming they have some marks for crit and spell damage bonuses) gonna try out both mage and warrior for beta tho want to be sure before retail I dont want to waste time figuring out what I class I really want to be thank god for beta ^^

Cleric... then Fighter... then Mage. LOL. Rogues are always my last choice. I dunno why.

My first character will either be a Rogue or a Cleric, I currently play a healer full time in EQ2 so I'll probably end up choosing a cleric at first.

Cleric most likely, and then a mage. I never play anything but healers, though I rather like caster dps if it's done right.

There is a bard class option? I didn't see that on the Rift site. If bard IS a legitimate option, that's what I'll be doing. In DAoC I was a bard for years and in LotRO I played a minstrel. I have a weakness for instrument wielding classes. D: It's a shame Blizzard never thought to do one for WoW.

ah well i see people is spliting clases in tank , healer and figther but in rift you have 4 calls , warrior rogue mague and healer but into each class you have more "souls" or choices , you can have a warrior with pure dps skills like riftblade or a healer like shaman what is just another dps . pets ar not just for figthers or casters , you can make a beastmaster what is a warrior ...so you can erase all what you remenber about old class .

Pd : all those what play a cler and love spam the mob have a perfect class for it , there is a healer tank also ..P

I am going to make a mage, probably a warlock with a pyro off hand soul. After that I am probably doing rogue assassin with a bladedanacer/nightblade soul.

No specific choice for me other than "not a healer". I enjoy bashing, crushing, piercing, and frying skulls too much. Oh, and splitting skulls. Can't forget the splitting.

Luckily enough for Trapsin, I too will be rolling the pyromancer. This way once he pulls aggro and dies the raid will still have sustainable amazing dps :p
