oh i wish for ranger/healer i love both classes ..as i have both in another not gonna mention mmo ..healing is fun but the ranged attacks with a pet by your side...now that i think will be me for sure!!

i could not agree more.. i was a hunter in dark age of camelot , i was a hunter in world of warcraft , i was a ranger in aion , and i hope to be the same in Rift..

I still am hunter in WoW, but was mostly melee classes in other MMOs i've played. Still i like the ranged classes in Rift. Marksman FTW !!

I have different backgrounds. Played an enchanter as my main in EQ, and a healer in EQ2. This time I'm going DPS, would love to get some mage theorycraft going on, but nda for now.

nightblade/assassin that can dabble in some magic sounds awesome, or a tank that can help support and heal , so many variations and posibilities , lol im so excited

in wow ive always played a melee and in eq2 i went caster, by the looks of how this game is, ill most likely be having alot of alts to get the feel of every class, might have to try a tank always wanted but never made one so well see, im just so excited i cant wait to be able to jump in and play the game

I've always played dps, but when I saw Justicar I knew he was what I really want! Ain`t it great that you can smash some faces, and in meantime heal your friends? Maybe I'd mix him up with some meele dps.

if I get in the beta will try a dps class with healer soul. Would like to be a sin and healer or hunter and healer would be interesting combo too. Althought not sure if we can mix all souls or just certain ones. will be intriging to see and test.

Since EQ i have always played a rogue type, I am going Nightblade/Assassin here just way too much fun, I played a MM/Ragnger to 20 as defiant then rolled a HE as a guardian Nightblade and have not played my MM since lol

You could also be a combination of Chloromancer (helas based on damage output mostly, but some independant ones as well) combined with Elemental Caster for your trusted pet and Dominator to squirrel the adds.
Another ranged healer is Ranger, Bard, Marksman combo. You get to play Airguitar :)
