I wonder when they'll drop the roman numerals and just use the year.

They were trying to do a "One finger on one hand, Five on the other" to show 15.

And if you want to get your Super Deluxe Collector's Edition it goes on sale tonight in about 30 minutes.

Edit:
Basic wrap up:

Five episode animated series made as a Prequel, called "Brotherhood". First episode coming out tonight, stream/download for free (I'm pretty sure they said free).

Full length CGI film, Kingsglaive, staring the evil queen and dead king of the north from Game of Thrones, and Pinkman from Breaking Bad. Coming out some time before the game this summer. Will take place parallel to the game's storyline, in a different location, with different characters

Another game demo is available tonight. For free, not as a preorder bonus. Completing the Demo will qualify you for a Carbuncle DLC for the main game.

IOS/Android pinball styled mini game from in the main game available sometime soon, registration starts tonight.

And then a bunch of minor things.

Edit:
Super Ultra Deluxe version is 270 dollars.
Comes with Game, hard cover art book, a Play Arts Kai figure, a Blu Ray copy of the Kingsglaive movie and a Blu Ray copy of the Brotherhood series. Plus some bonus game content.

Those Play Arts Kai figurines always jump those prices up high. Without it I am guessing it'd be a 100-120 dollar collector's edition, going by SE's other store items.

Edit:
In predictable fashion, PS4 version sells out within 20 minutes of going live.
Xbox One version still in stock.

That's for the Ultimate Collectors.

Regular and Deluxe versions still stocked. Deluxe version is not exclusive to the SE Store either, it seems. Not sure if other retailers have it listed yet. It only comes with half the bonus DLC and a copy of Kingsglaive. No Brotherhood, Figure, or Artbook, and some missing bonus DLC.

After playing the demo I can say I have absolutely no interest in this game at all. I don't want to play a hack in slash game I want to play a turn based RPG.

Ever since Square turned to Square Enix they have went downhill. I loved Final Fantasys 6 through X. All of those games had a pretty straight forward combat system. Then came Final Fantasy 12 where you had to program your companions to fight for you as well as adding action RPG elements. I hated it! I really tried to like it but after 11 hours or so of game play I ebayed it off for whatever I could get out of it. Fast forward to Final Fantasy 13 I have a 15 hour save game and haven't touched it in years. The story line and linear game play just bored me. Now I see they are going straight out hack in slash it appears.

Obviously I am in a minority considering people are throwing their money at this game allready before its even released.

I enjoyed FF12. But then again, I was actively playing FF11 when 12 came out, and 12 felt like an offline version of 11.

FFX-2, the "Idol" theme aside, really had probably the best ATB systems for FF games. I would not mind if they used that in an upcoming game.

I played both demos of FFXV. They are more of a Kingdom Hearts gameplay than your classic turn based FF games. But, I don't hold that against it. I did enjoy the Kingdom Hearts games a lot. And I will give FFXV a chance.
