I never played the game, but watched a friend play. There was a mission where I believe where one of the failure conditions was for the computer to take an objective, and it could do so by turn 2 if it wanted to without you seemingly having the ability to stop it.
I did a quick search and was unable to find the particular mission, I'll do a little more because I' am a bit curious about it.
I liked the concept of the gameplay, in that it reminded me somewhat of what Legend of Dragoon (and to an extent Magna Carta) attempted to do by making the RPG more active and involved.
