OMG I FINALLY CAUGHT AN ABRA AFTER HOURS OF TRYING!!! (You can't attack them, they teleport if you try... you have to just throw a pokeball as soon as you see it, I had to google the hell out of this to figure that out)

Abra caught first try, no Infestation. Quick Ball ****! Smiley: cool

As a side note I'm saddened by the lack of people using my FC, the only one I have so far is Dyadem.

So, I broke down and picked up Y today... I've never even played a Pokemon game outside of a gameboy rom... so.. when I figure out what I'm doing.. I'll be ready to battle or something... Or I'll just look for cute pets.

FC: 0791-2121-2660 "g0dless420"... It is my 3ds code right? I couldn't find any other code in the game itself.

Apparently me and Olo were already previous friends...I entered that code 3 times and it kept saying registered already...I thought no way thats impossible....but there Olo was!

As for pokemon...I got the third badge and Mega evolution (cool stuff). I have spent so much time with pokemon and not the quest. I have something like 153 pokemon seen, 80 something Captured I think. (including evolutions obviously.) I have nearly 24 pokemon at level 30 plus from all the pokehunting I have done. At least one I think from every type...

I can't wait to see what awaits me at the 4th badge.

Used GTS and got a Dratini and some other neat stuff too so have another round of hunting leveling to go.

This is the best pokemon I have played in some time. The new EXP Share is also awesome.

It is.

Though it's also why my party is absurdly over-leveled. Smiley: lol

New gripe about Horde Mode. So you're unable to throw a Pokeball while the horde is still up because the trainer can't aim for ****. You have to defeat all but one in order to re-enable the option, which is stupid because it defeats the whole purpose of horde mode IMO.

Why couldn't they have used the same enemy choice system used in multi-enemy battles to select a capture target? Smiley: mad

You cannot throw pokeballs in multi-battles either. Yes, it is kind of annoying but there isn't any pokemon I'm aware of that only appears in hordes in the world, so if you absolutely can't handle it you can go find the poke elsewhere (possibly even in the same area).

Version specific pokemon can appear in hordes of their relatives in the opposite versions, like the Plusle/Minun ones.. I'm not sure about others becasuse I'm still farming route 7...

Meh, as long as you aren't using multi-attacks, it shouldn't be a huge issue.

**** GTS, Wonder Trades is where it's at. You might see a bunch of Ralts, but so far I've also scored a Vulpix, Growlithe, Togepi and a bunch others. Just keep sending the same one until you get something new, breed your own, and send out the old one. You're not gonna get anything legendary of course but you're probably not gonna get them from GTS anyway.

I only used Wonder Trade once. Got one of the first form dragons. I think it was an Aron, which is X-exclusive, and I have X, so meh?

I'll probably play with it more once I breed a bunch of eevees or something.

From what I understand, breeding Pokemon from different regions increases the chance of getting a shiny from an egg, so there's that.

I don't generally care about shinies. Caught one in my entire Pokemon career, lol.

I might care after I complete the Pokedex. I'd definitely care if they made a MMO.

Until then, bliss. :P

Been fighting a fever for the last few days and despite being off work haven't found much time to play.

I decided on my team going forward though!

Charizard
Haxourus
Gyrados
Dragonite
Krookodile
Aurorus.

Hopefully I can man some hours between sleeps....stupid Flu...guess thats what I get for telling my Doctor I don't need a shot, I never get the flu...Karma hates me.
