NA PS+ Instant Game Collection titles for February:

Outlast (PS4)

Remember Me (PS3)
Metro: Last Light (PS3)
Payday 2 (PS3)

Street Fighter X Tekken (Vita)
ModNation Racers: Road Trip (Vita)

Not too shabby. They've really stepped up their game in recent months, after a few months of lackluster titles.

I'm not particularly interested in any of those titles, BUT I can also fully accept that it's a quality list that will have broad appeal. So I can live with it. Smiley: lol

My immediate to-play list is getting overwhelming with my free time, anyway.

I just started FFXIII-2, because I want to get it done to be ready for Lightning Returns (I won't have it beaten by then, but I'd like to try and avoid the spoilers from gaming blogs I follow on tumblr, to the best of my ability).

I want to finish out the Bravely Default demo, for the bonuses, for when that gets released.

I have FFXIV back on sub, and I want to level up another class through side quests/fates (was going to do Glad, but then I remembered that Glad will have insta queues come level 15, so that was stupid. Can't decide what to level though - Pugilist, Lancer, Archer, or Thaum).

The Last of Us has been staring at me, judging, for months now...

So many good games, SO LITTLE FREE TIME.

I think I meant to post that in the console deals thread. I have no interest in a game like Outlast, but it's not like there's a whole lot to choose from as far as PS4 games go.

I played a little bit of Demon's Souls last night, but I've been working a lot recently so I haven't been up for video games too much. I still want to platinum Diablo 3 on PS3 before Reaper of Souls comes out, but I think I have a while before that, anyway.

Aren't you working like 3 jobs now? How you get ANY play time in is a mystery.

I should probably see what my PS3 HDD is looking like. I probably have to clean it up.

I did that last month. Took forever. They really need to make it easier to manage your HDD (hope they did that with the PS4, for obvious reasons)...

Especially since with PS+ I just have it set to download and update every night, so I actually have a ton of the PS+ games installed. Smiley: lol

Picked up Halo: Spartan Assault on 360. It's a fun twin-stick top-down shooter, though the $15 price seems a bit steep. I'm sure the Halo branding is a massive part of that.

Loadout got its official release, and is F2P for the general public now. I tried to play last night but after 2 hours in queue I gave up. It's an enjoyable game that I played in beta a bunch. I'll wait until they fix the server issues. It plays fairly well with a controller, though I imagine at higher levels the difference in skill caps between controller and KB/M will be more evident.

I played Kingdom of Amular all weekend. The game has some issues, but it was pretty fun.

I like the 'fate' bar. Smiley: grin

I really enjoyed playing the Rogue, I remember. With lifestealing weapons. Smiley: grin Don't think I got around to trying the other two.

I did the same thing. Decided to pick up the DLC I never played and started a brand new toon. It may sound weird but I am enjoying how mellow it is to play. Kind of a nice change of pace from some of the really challenging games I have been playing lately like MGR, Dark Souls, and Valdis Story.

Sometimes a guy just wants to faceroll some mobs while enjoying the pretty scenery. Smiley: cool

Thought I didn't have very much to do to 100% Diablo III on PS3, but apparently one of the trophies is to pick up 5 million gold. I'm just about at my second level 60, and am at Paragon level 7 overall, and am only just over 1.5M collected, so this is going to be quite a long time to finish.

Picked up Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate for the 3DS. It is really good. I haven't played a side-scrolling Castlevania in a long time and it's really quite a fun title.

Someone bought me a copy of Rust and Banished yesterday. Haven't tried Banished yet (it's sort of like a medieval Tropico without the political elements) but Rust has been working hard to crush my spirit. It's a multiplayer survival game; you start with a rock, two bandages and a torch and need to go from there. Other players will try and kill you either for your possessions or just because they have a gun and you don't. So I'd spend my days trying to hunt and kill deer and swine with rock or stone axe and my nights huddling by a fire hoping it was sheltered enough that I wasn't giving away my position. Best I did was collecting an axe, a full set of clothes (no more need for a nighttime fire, yay), and enough wood materials for a tiny house except for one wall. Then as I was collecting that someone ran near me, I started to run away, paused because he looked decently equipped and I thought maybe I wasn't that interesting to him and the shot me. And I heard his companion ask him why he did that -- guess he was just being a **** but so it goes.

You would have known that already if you had watched Yahtzee's review.

I'm pretty sure there is or was a 10 million or 25 million one after that, something like that. I know I didn't get the highest rank of that on PC with a paragon lvl 70ish monk and 3 other level 60's with some paragon levels. It's been a year since I've played the game though.

PS3's trophy only needs 5M, but I'm sure the in-game achievements go higher.

I actually booted up Diablo III on PC today, since they've finally rolled out their Loot 2.0 patch. I have yet to get an upgrade to what I have, but it's nice to see items dropping that I could have actually found useful on the character I'm playing, instead of loot that might maybe fetch me a couple hundred gold on the AH. Also, the AH shuts down this month. I don't have enough gold to actually outfit any characters, but maybe I'll try to snag a couple last-minute deals before it goes down for good.

Oh right, if the AH shuts down that makes the 100 million or something my character has pretty damn useless, doesn't it?
