They should have just used some screenshots from Ninja Gaiden.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is $30.80 at GetGamesGo with coupon code LV-426 applied at checkout. I know a lot of people are waiting on reviews, etc but thought I'd mention it in case anyone is planning on taking the plunge.

Go get the game, I hear that it's awesome! Smiley: disappointed

GOG is going to release System Shock 2 tomorrow morning, no word on the price yet.

Also Dead Space 3 is good, despite the microtransactions and the Zerg-rushing necros all over the place.

Huh I've beat that game twice back in the day. Not sure if I want to spring for it a 3rd time. Wonder if anything is added or improved to make it worth buying again. The Screens they have up look a tad cleaner but they always will on PC, and I'm not seeing anything about "improved performance". I want to pre-order it but I dont want to deal with a ****** console port, I would rather just play it on console.

Mainly I use my console to play Jrpgs, and Console only games and my Pc for everything else.

Steam is celebrating the release of Steam on Linux by discounting select games (read: the only ones that can run on Linux) by 50% - 75%.

Yeah... The Ouya will probably end up with a better selection since it runs Android, so there should be plenty of adaptations of tablet/phone games. Though, to be honest, without AAA support, I don't see either as more than a supplementary console.

Heck, at least Gameloft has those AAA knock-off Android titles like Modern Combat, NOVA and Asphalt. Port those for Ouya and you'd have some quasi-credible console game play (at least for the comparatively low cost vs a similar 360/PS3 title).

If you're fast, persistent and lucky, there's a number of the AMD "Never Settle" promo cards on eBay for Bioshock: Infinite + Tomb Raider or B:I + Crysis 3. I managed to pick up Bioshock: Infinite & Tomb Raider for about 65% off MSRP on the set.

You can also check out FREE2PlayBundle or type in Planetside 2/World of Tanks/Hawken. I recently upgraded my Vid card and I didnt know but if you buy a 660 or better Nvidia will send you a Code for 50 dollar credit in each of those games. (a quick check on Ebay showed one for 70 bucks which is kind of a savings)

Thats why I was asking about Hawken in the other thread I was considering giving them a code for 50 bucks in game currency(only if they were an actual player not someone just wanting a 50 dollar credit), but since no one really said anything I went and contacted a few people about using it as a prize.I surprised one of my friends IRL who plays World of Tanks all the time with that code, and I used the Planetside 2 code myself. (The Planetside 2 is 50 pure Station Cash so technically it could be used for any SOE game I think)

Gonna dirty up this thread with some Console garbage.

The Final Fantasy Classics are 50% off on the PSN, have been for some time, because of the 25th anniversary. 1+2 (Single Game), 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and Tactics. $4.99 each.

I think it started on the 4th, and was for two weeks. So it's nearing the end, probably this weekend being the last.

Edit:
Turns out 4 is not on that $4.99 list. Instead 4 is only available as a PSP/Vita download, and it is the "Complete" edition which has FF4, and the After Years (which I actually thought was Wii only, but turns out PSP has it too). But that one is priced at $9.99. Apparently full price is 20 dollars...

So on that list is also some PSP/Vita only games:

Dissidia
Dissidia 012
Dissidia 012 Prologus
FFT: PSP release
FF4 Complete

Also for the next 2 weeks all Namco games are 50% off on PSN (maybe select not sure) I picked up One Piece: Pirate Warriors for 24.99, I saw Tekken 6 and Noby Noby boy and I think Touch my Katamari on sale also.

As for the Final Fantasy sale, yeah its the 25th Anniversery of the series so eerything on PSN is 50% off. Honestly I would stay away from the NES/SNES ports as they have terrible lag (exception is 5 I think) and nothing added really gameplay wise (Beastilery and Jukebox don't count)

I'm a huge fan of the FF series but only picked up FF8 and 9 (I already own FF7 on disk(x2) and PC) and FFT: War of The Lions refresh (with the slowdown patch homebrew) for PSP.

If you liked FF4 the complete version is pretty nice IMHO if you own a PSP. Not the greatest but yeah.

Ya, I bought The After Years for the Wii.

As for the slowdown of the ports, I bought the original discs for the PS1 back when they came out, and knew about the slowdown, but I always assumed that had to do with loading data off the disk. Wouldn't the slowdown be less with the downloaded version on the PS3 hard drive?

/shrug, quite possible there is no slowdown, but I don't feel like risking 5 bucks when I already have them on my PC, and IMHO they look better XD.
