I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time, but those guys do mess up a lot. It makes me a bit hesitant to be giving them any money.

I've never had GMG mess up. And I've purchased over 60 games/dlc/bundles from them. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Gamersgate?

I think I found something out about trading cards on Steam. Apparently the Devs have some control over how often they drop. And Wasteland 2 Devs have put like... 2 hours between card drops. And they have 15 total cards, so it takes 16 or so hours of idling to get all the cards...

GMG has added a referral system. If you invite a friend and they spend more than 2 dollars, you each get 2 dollars in GMG credit.

That's pretty cool. I may pick it up then. If I do, I'll have a few keys to give out.

Done. Have the following sets of keys if anyone wants:
Alone In The Dark
Demonicon: The Dark Eye
Year Walk
Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space
Kraven Manor

Took the few I wanted and didn't have as well as most of the ones with cards, but those sound like some solid games if you're into that kind of thing. Edit: Should mention I'm about to go to bed, so I'll check responses when I wake.

The chick barbarian game cards were worth 16-20 odd cents each when I sold them.

I'm up to over 25 funbux now, the gimmick thing is clearing out my vast backlog on the market.

Christ, current bid is 560k in gems for an item that will only last till Jan 16th. You would be better off with the games. Smiley: oyvey

I'm pretty sure it was like... 1.5 million on the first auction.

I'm just pretending this auction thing isn't happening, it's not worth the effort to get the gems.

I have like $70+ in GabeN Funbux via cards so whatever games I want I can really just buy for "free" rather than messing with the gems thing. But thanks, event, for clearing out my inventory. Even those $3 foils have sold!

Valve has straight up killed trading with Russia/CIS for cheap games. Games gifted from Russia/CIS or other 'cheap' nations to more expensive nations can not be unpacked. In Valve's defense, this is in response to the crashing ruble which is getting more valueless by the day so developers were getting boned big time. Still sucks to lose a source for cheap stuff though. I don't think the "no cheap to expensive zones" rule will impact Nuuvem (yet) since they don't sell Steam gifts, they sell keys.

Nuuvem started their Christmas sale and Shadow of Mordor is $16.50, give or take for conversions. About 66% off if it's on your Christmas shopping list. I don't think it hit that low over the Fall Steam sale.

Grabbed it, thanks. Confirmed that the recent Valve region locking does not affect Steam Keys.

Yeah, just "unpacking" games traded/gifted through Steam itself.

Let the random clips from this video convince you to buy it.

Not a horrible game, but is a 360 port and I do recommend a joystick to play it though.

For canucks that shadow of mordor deal from nuuvem is a bit more than 20 bucks. How low did it go during the fall sale? Since I have the 30 dollars in free card money I think I'd rather buy direct from steam if the difference is only 5-7 bucks or something.
