GetGamesGo has Dungeon Siege III for $5.59 or $7.08 with DLC. I believe it got somewhat on the positive side of middling reviews but maybe someone wants to give it a go for five bucks.

Also, GMG has Darksiders II pre-orders for 30% off.

GMG's Birthday deals:
Saints Row II for $18
Warhammer 40k Space Marine for $20

Also, Syberia is $5 which is one of those games that always catches my attention for some reason. The name? The chick? The mastodons? Probably the mastodons. But I've never tried and never heard of anyone else trying and actually know nothing about. I'm not saying to buy it, I just saw it on sale and thought about it again. Apparently it's a puzzle game which I never finish anyway so maybe it's best to let it live in my imagination.

It also has a $2 trade-in credit so if you're more enthusiastic than I, you can technically play it for $3.

Today's GMG sales:

Homefront - $14.30 (70%)
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II: Retribution - $12 (60%)

Homefront is only overpriced by fourteen bucks Smiley: wink2

Amazon has Divinity II for $5.99 and Bulletstorm is amusingly down to $3.94. I guess they couldn't sell it at $4.03 or whatever it was at before. Bioshock, Bioshock II and Metro 2033 are all five bucks each as well [Edit: See Bioshock sale below; both for $7.49] . Civ 4 Complete and Borderlands: GOTY are $7.50 each.

Steam has the Assassin's Creed franchise on sale for 50 to 75 percent off depending on the game. The first game was a bit rough, but from 2 onward it's very solid series with great game play, an interesting story, and some pretty damn good looking graphics. If you haven't played it, you really should.

AC: Director's Cut Edition - $4.99
AC2: Deluxe Edition - $4.99
AC: Brotherhood - $7.49
AC: Revelations - $19.99

DLC Packs for Revelations:
The Ancestors Character Pack - $1.99
Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack - $4.99
The Lost Archive - $4.99

Or you could pick up all of them for the stupidly low price of $44.99. Honestly, the multiplayer alone from Brotherhood and Revelations is worth that price.

I doubt KoA will be disappearing, since EA was the publisher. Though MD will be getting the IP when 38 Studios closes, so maybe they can stop EA from distributing it--I dunno.

I was tongue-in-cheek about KoA disappearing forever although there's a thread on the Steam forums saying it might go away there as 38 Studios published directly on Steam.

Civilization V: GOTY is $12.50 at GetGamesGo. I've seen Civ V on sale often enough but don't think I've seen the GOTY edition on sale yet. GamersGate has it for the same price and also has all the DLC on sale in case you don't own the GOTY edition but want to feel like you do.

I'm amazed their publishing deal with EA let them publish it themselves or use steam.

Mount & Blade series is 75% off at GamersGate. Everyone says Warband is the one to buy ($4.99) but you can get the whole collection for only $7.50 and make your own decision.

I've been playing Warband (single player campaign) the last few days and it's definitely one of those "Ok, I'm exiting after I take that city... oohh, mountain bandits! C'mere you bastards... crap, I'm low on food; I better raid that town to restock because I won't remember in the morning... wait, how is it 2:30am?" types of games.

Prototype 2 for 360/PS3 is the Deal of the Day on Amazon, $30 and it's yours. Also today is a video game Gold Box day, so keep an eye out for any deals you want.

The actual URL is way longer than it needs to be.

The makers of The Witcher 2 have decided to port the game to mac, which for some reason means that it's a great idea to put the PC version of the game on sale. GoG has it for $29.99 for the next week. I've heard some pretty good things about the game (and some pretty awful things too), so I'm not sure if I'll pick it up or not.

Battlefield 3 is 50% off ($30) at Gamersgate. Or Battlefield 2 (with expansion) for $8.00

Gamersgate is also releasing something called "Void". You get slots and can put a game into the slot. Then you play it for free by watching a 60 second ad. Eventually the slot expires and you can pick a new game to slot instead. So you essentially rent the game for the cost of watching the ads. Naturally, you can pay money for slots to cycle faster, get more slots, etc. It's an interesting concept except their game selection right now is nothing to talk about. A good number of games but all lesser titles you've never heard of. They say they'll be expanding it to new releases and stuff so who knows.

Latest and greatest Humble Bundle is up. The last couple have been iffy (I mainly got them for the Android app versions) but this one is pretty golden.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Limbo
Psychonauts
Superbrothers: Swords & Sorcery EP
-- and pay over the average to get --
Bastion

Bastion is an awesome game. I haven't played but heard Limbo & Psychonauts highly recommended and Amnesia is the the go-to when someone asks "Name the scariest game you can..."

The 'worst' part about this bundle is that a lot of people probably own some or all of these already because they're so well regarded. If you don't, this is your chance to get them inexpensively.
