Cool Helms?Follow

Well, it's not like I need a new helmet. The one I already have is pretty cool, and I've managed to finally make an outfit that I really like the looks of and is fitting to my class.

That being said, I'm looking for more cool looking gear I can wear. I like seeing what I can collect and wear. As a topic or two I've read on here has already said, not many medium helmets look good or special, or atleast in my and other's personal opinion.

Most Elven style of helmets I find look dorky, and most Dwarven helmets look too square. Most normal helmets look nice, but not nearly as good as this Barrow-Scout's Helm I've had since the early levels of the game.

There are some helmets I can get using marks from the Rift runs, but I don't have Angmar unlocked and I've never seen a need to spend turbine points to unlock it. I've made it to Moria without the Angmar quest pack to level through.

There IS the Rohan helmet in the cash shop, but I don't like it too much. Doesn't go with the look I'm going for, and I don't like how the brushes on the top of it are the only parts you can dye.

There was this one helmet I saw this guy wear for the Warden class that looked like a very elegant elven helmet with "wings" on both sides of it, but I can't get that until level 63, and I'm only level 54, so far.

I was wondering if it was ok to ask, this. What are some nice looking medium armor or cosmetic helmets that you like that I can get and use without being able to use heavy armor or being level 60-65?

There are a few good ones from the skirmish camp, like the adventurer's hat. It would help if you posted a pic of your character so that we can see

There's a couple of others but i don't know them off the top of my head. Google "lotro darzil" and you can find a site with loads of information on equipment

Most helms ARE dorky looking. I usually run without showing it, wearing a hooded cloak, or using one of the circlets.

I WOULD do rift runs for the Town Saver's helmet, but I'm not sure if I can even find enough players for it, now that I see it requires 12 players around level 50. Especially since I'm on the Firefoot server.

I wish I would have picked a more populated server.

The Mask of Rhun from the store is a good choice IMO. It can be dyed any colour. I have it on my captain (who is from Rohan). While not technically a helm, it looks really good with the cosmetic gear I have chosen for my character, which is dyes with a basic black/white theme. Its a good choice if you are stuck for a nice looking headpiece

My coolest "helm" is actually a hat that looks like a really big red witch had with runes on it, but I've been wearing it for so long I don't remember the name, but I can look it up next time I play ;D
All I know is that you get it really early in the game since I have, like I said, been wearing it for ages...
