We've got an IRC chatroom up on the ZAM server! Come and join us.

First of all you will need an IRC client. You can use mibbit, a great web based interface, or you can use any number of available desktop clients. Here's a efw of my favorites:

mIRC (Windows)
xChat (Windows & Linux)
Colloquy (OSX)

Server: irc.allakhazam.com
Room: #guildfans

It's definitely a fun group of folks already.

Who here is good with mIRC performs? I can't work out how to autojoin channels on more than one server.

This is what I have at present:

/authserv auth username password 
/join #chan1 
/join #chan2 password 

Then..

/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password 
/join #guildfans 

The first is for Gamesurge - and at present I need to select the Alakhazam server manually and join, which then actuates the second performs.

So, any way to join the two chans on Gamesurge and #guildfans on Alakhazam automatically?

Damn it - using the above, I get (Throttled: Reconnecting too fast) on Alakhazam and (ERROR Your host is trying to (re)connect too fast -- throttled) on Gamesurge.

Here's how I did it, for anyone in the same situation:

Under performs > Gamesurge

/authserv auth username password 
//mode $me +x 
/join #guildwarsguru 
/join #theotherone password 
/server -m irc.allakhazam.com 

Note the final command connects to the Allakhazam server, then, under performs > Allakhazam*:

/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password 
//mode $me +x 
/join #guildfans

(Ignore the +x nonsense - that's a just-in-case ;))

*Also note that the Allakahazam server needs to be in a named group for it to appear in the performs server list - call the group Allakhazam too (thanks for that, Tasha :))
