Discrimination is unfair treatment based on race, creed or religion, not treatment based on that person's previous behavior. If you had just joined and been banned because you were of a certain nationality, gender or religion the boards didn't like, then that would be discrimination, and you still wouldn't have a case. As it is, you were banned for causing problems on the boards and that's it.

I was a mod on several forums for a few years, and let me let you in on a little secret... they have your IP address. If you get banned repeatedly and then come back and find your new account banned, it's because they know it's you and they know you have a history of causing problems.

I believe you may want to contact and attorney to get a clear definition of discrimination. Discrimination for EEOC, which is more for employment, credit or financial is as you state. However discrimination also applies to those that are treatly differently than others who perform the same act. Such as in this case you have several people on this site that use profane and vulgar language yet are allowed to continue to participate in the forum. While those that are not part of a "clic" are permitted to do the exact same actions as those who are banned. This constitutes discrimination. There are many others on this site that cuss and have referred to someone providing sexual acts to either deny or give yet this person is now listed as an administrator. This is an abuse of power and very much grounds for a lawsuit. So, I would suggest that before you begin to make accusations you check with an attorney. This is not a private site, it is open to the public and this is a public forum protected under the law by freedom of speech. There is no requirement to join other than an email address. There is no fee to pay to participate and it is able to be copied and redistributed for use in a lawsuit if necessary.

Also, as a previous moderator I am sure you are aware there are rules which you must follow and must be addressed across the board, not to just members that you disagree with their statements. And as for the IP address, yes I agree an IP address can be found and banned. However you must insure that if you site an IP address of a previous participant to be the reason a new participant is also banned, that the 2nd participant you are banning has in fact the same IP address and does not live 7 states away on a completely different IP address. Otherwise this does constitute discrimination as it is "assuming" that the name is one and the same as one you have previously banned when in fact it is not.

You are missing several key things.

First the courts have established that it is OK to discriminate. (TBSOA not allowing gay leaders in their ranks or how felons are not allowed to vote.) You need to remember boys clubs do not have to allow girls.

Second for a law suit to take place there has to be loss. Since you have no loss how can you sue?

Third you have to prove how your group was descriminated against, which you cant. Troll discrimination has not become a valid form of descrimination.

Ren, If you're going to pretend to be someone else, it's a good idea to fix your spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization issues. And for the record, I've done no banning as I'm not an admin. I have forwarded Rens posts to the administration staff, and they've been the ones doing the banning. It'd be a good idea to realize how things work before you go off claiming I'm the problem here. To any admin that runs through this thread, I recommend a lock.

kaol i see you havnt read the whole post now what right did you have to ban the last name none so your president and vice president have recieved e-mails from myself and others pertaining to kas also her post has been attached to the e-mail along with mine so before you get to talking about sueing some 1 for harrassment i sugest you read through the whole post before you jump to judgement on some 1 good day and have a nice day to you tomm copies of all post yours kas and rens will be sent to my att and we will let the courts decide

Phew...I was actually a little worried that the last one was Godraiden. In all fairness though, Ren acts ALOT like Godraiden. It's kind of sad really. In fact...didn't Godraiden threaten legal action?

It's actually two seperate people who know each other, that's how one has more typing skills than the other. They sent me an email asking us to fire Kastigir, and then when I told them that Kastigir wasn't an admin, they wanted me to fire Kaolian instead. Er, no?

The saddest troll is one who doesn't realize he is one, and this is the second one this week. Er, second and third, I guess.

Posting in support of a troll will get you banned just as fast as being a troll yourself. That's a good lesson to learn.

I'll admit that it's an unhealthy obsession. Ren actually did well between his first and second banning. Of course after getting kennedylawgrp banned he's just become a serious troll with an unhealthy, Godraidenlike obsession.
