Well this is asking a age old question.
Have you ever gone to kill something and just as you did it you realized
"Damn what the hell did I just get myself into"
Perfect example
I was using my 34 wizzy to help my Gf on her 20 qst. She needed to kill an aviak thrasher. So as I am running her out there I am AoE killing stuff.
No big deal there all greens to me. See a bunch of aviak Basher's I own them with one AoE. Well then I spot the Thrashers about 5 of them. Hey no biggie I am a Bad *** wizzy. I hit them with the AoE. First I notice all there dogs turning on me I figure hey no problem I dropped there Master's. Well thats when I happen to notice a slight problem. All there master's were looking at me and that's when there hands lit up. Lets just say I made it a few feet but that was about it.
So anyone ever have one of these days?

LOL, ive thought i was a badass wizzy so many times lol...but i am so it worked out( flexes muscles.....err reads a hard *** spell book! boo yah!) lol
Well this is more funny then anything else...I was on Fist at Bandits PLin, i was naked i was just in lion form (no bird, i casted him then dismissed so i think his buffs wore off as well)well lol...i pulled the whole camp including those damn casters lol now the regular bandits where doing sh*t to me..but when i got hit by those casters...WOW lol, my HP started to decrease so fast.....i felt like such a noob lol a 50wizzy getting taken down by a bunch of bandits lol...but while i know the grp was laughing at me i went back with all my gear on and finished PLin them lol..that time my hp didnt drop but i had a rep bill...but i still feel like such a idiot for dying on something like that lol.
Now you ask me why didnt i evac well if i did the grp would have died lol, i had to walk away and nuke(AoE) now i only had a low LVl AoE on me so i could get the bandits attention but not KS them lol so im using a sh*tty Aoe LMAO i never thought id die at bandits!!....but now that i think about it i could have jsut killed the casters...but as i said i was a noob.
i think i am the first 50 to die at bandits ever lol....do i get a prize??....
well to get back on the topic... i was on fist one day just killing WHs(aeric) lol, well i seen this 50MAGE beat piker, now i knew this mage i beat him in cpl duels before lol, so i say ' if he can beat piker i know i can' lol, well lol i run up to piker cast my nukes... im winning..then he starts to hit me a **** load harder, now i my HP is way low from him hitting me, i decide to FP evac..well i have no ******* clue why it took so long but the loading screen never went lol finally it goes and im dead with piker standing over saying his 'quote' that ****** ran all the way over there jsut to kill me lol.
so im pissed that i cant beat piker, i had a friend of mine( 45 war) tank him for me while i killed himlol, my friends HP fell so fast it wasnt funny he used all his bellows and had a 29shammy heal him lol. but i got the bad faction once piker fell no one else lol....ahh once im 60 with sage im gonna go on a WH killing spree( just for fun of course, i already have max bad faction on fist lol with the WH, none of my other toons will EVER kill a WH, theres no way im doing this on a war, and grumpy will never need to kill a WH)

hmmm I once pulled the whole orc camp (by Teth and Fay) on my 21 druid, everything was going fine untill I died...Good times.
On Spife, I've tried twice now to solo a (what looks like Djinn) 60 mob in the middle of the desert in a giant tower, first time I got owned, tried to run..heh that didn't work. The second time it was neck and neck but he got me. The third time I'll take him, I need more cms.
Pulled one to many minos on Xia the other day (2) only reason I lived was the group was over my level and umm taunt path :D)
I've tried soloing guards on Xiahoudun, I can get close on FP guards, or at least I think I can. Need more cms.
Tried taking the bandit camp north of Wynd on Lizi.. had water pet out, he isn't as good as I thought.

Okay this is probably a good one..ANyhoo I was exploring (it's what I do when I"m very very bored, <3 vanish) and I come across a light blue, so I Think "hmm a BROWN RECLUSE, light blue I can take him" heh no, this may have been pre 60 or even pre MC, it was definetly pre PB. So I as I'm moving in, I notice the little bugger is coming for me. No, let me rephrase, he is SPRINTING for my corpse-to-be. "Uh oh..he has sow...." We engage and I unload, Back stab, Back Stab, Back stab, Toxic blade, weaker toxic blade thing, bite...he has 4 reds left...fut. I don't think I could do any better now come to think of it, I gotta convince my friend to tank it lol.
I've also tried to take a light blue were-hunter, I unloaded and he had like 3.5 red left. I escaped (again, <3 vanish) but god damn.
I can't think of any more, they exist but...

So we are at mymerdons or something and we see a red, like a deep red, wandering out side (I forget his name, possibly a champion) anyhoo we engage and we killed it and it gave 60k, which was A LOT For our level. We used two HT's to take it out and a few people died I think.

Two words Artic Adept. I think they made them tougher than before because I used to solo both them and the Artic Spiritcallers on shots (60 awh wizzy)). I got him to half a red, so I figured id just used my pet to catch him mid cast and unload, so i rez back and take him on again. I die same thing half a red, almost a sliver left and i die. I continue to keep trying til i hit max debt and finally log for the night. They next morning my friend who is a highly cmed DWH Shammy took him on and died a few times too, we both were laughing hard about it.

Faithnomore? lol hes the only DwH i know that can do some nasty DMG....or sheildz but i dont think he is a DwH.

Yea sheildz is cool, i used to grp with him before he hit 60, but i knew it was one of those two lol, i jsut didnt figure Sheildz kept his tag.

One word. Wisp.. Prefronts, early-mid 20s war. I'm a total noob at the time. No gear, except low lvl quest (no 17s) and merchant. When I think War, I think strong.. So, all points unloaded into str. I finally get from Halas to DM. Killing the light blues there, not doing to shabby. Then... The wisp.. I hate them, oh so much.
You hate wisps? YOU HATE WISPS? I didn't know a bloody SPHERE had a back!! (oy died on the way to a group, friend thought it was funny I was pretty pissed off)
Saturday on Brie I was tankin TFG's and to be honest I am always quite nervous that an adept or spiritcaller will get me. However I ahd a 60 healer this time and Avatar so I figured we are cool. However 2 Arctic Adepts insta'd on me. Somehow only the wiz in our group got killed, but we were only able to kill one adept I had to hit sprint and lead the other right to northgate. Turns out noone in my party saw the second adept (blind bastids) and kept yellin at me for runnin off (its dead already come back) well they were shocked when the adept snuck up behind them that I had lead off.
Wont really say I have bitten off more than I can chew because I was a shammy who spent most of my time afraid of LB's but I can say most of my problems come from wrong turns or falling off ledges...i spent 30 minutes the first time i fell down the pit at Blackburrow being chased and healing trying to find the way out that doesnt exist, when I thought I lost the scarabs I ran to the water to RH out only to have the swarm come flying out the door right after I cast RH and could only watch as they beat me to death

There is a way out. It's hard to find when your being chased tho. When you're running thru the caves it's hard left (I think), almost U-turn and is hard to notice when your running thru.
i tried killing the final mob for my 60 epic with like 10 people the first day it came out...it didnt go well and we all got killed...badly...

Myself and guildie Karrod were running low-level quests. As an elf I had to go to Klick. We were running back to the village between Fays ans Klick and ran up a hill only to be instantly killed by an eight-legged freak. A huge mechanical spider. We still laugh about it months later.
that things a beast! haha but soloable...prolly not for a low level haha instant death!
