I'm about to buy a new cpu and I want to play swg. I'm just wondering if its worth it. I'm a vet of Everquest and FinalFantasyonline so i'm not a noob to mmo. I know that SOE made a huge change and pissed most ppl off and alot of ppl quit. But from a noob stand point will I enjoy this game? and what were the drastic changes? Thanks for any info and you time.

Yeah thats a good question, I left SWG when they made all these changes last year (Nov/Oct). Is it still the same game? After playing several other MMOs i got stuck at WoW. But i really miss my old options so i consider coming back. But i guess they didnt reintroduce some of the old gamemechanics, did they?

as i always suggest, grab the trial, then come back with questions.
Its a great game to play, lots of friendly people on Tarquinas server, Player vs Player is very much alive and happening. Grab a copy and havea play, decide for yourself :)
on a more realistic note, i would advise you not to buy a copy of this game until you have at least tried the 10 day trial. as for reintroducing the old mechanics, thats a carrot their dangling for the vets, as yet there has been no progress made into actually doing it though.
whatever you decide though, i think your too late, most of the servers are empty, very few have anything approaching an active population.
