Star Wars Galaxies: Character and Server suggestions :: World of Warcraft

I just bought SWG. I've never played it before. I've been playing WoW since December 2004 and was looking for something else until Burning Crusade comes out (which I've pre-ordered).

What type of character do you recommend and which server do you suggest? Is there a shortage of particular types of characters, like healers? (There are always shortages of healers in WoW and you can ALWAYS get into a group if you are healer type).

Please let me know your thoughts or any other input or suggestions about the game.

well, depending on what kind of server you want, ahazi and bria are more populated i belive.
you can always check out the server forums on the main site to get a feel for the community.

i wouldnt suggest being a jedi, but since the only characters i see that i can recognize are jedis and bounty hunters, i can say what proffs are popular
