I've been patient for a long time, but I am definitely at my wits end.

I started Star Wars Galaxies about a month after its initial release. I love it, bugs and all. But, shortly before Publish 10 (the Jedi Revamp), I unintentionally unlocked my force-sensitive slot. Although I could not use it until Publish 10, I was ecstatic. Publish 10 came and I was not able to access my Jedi. A call the next Monday to Customer Service informed me that "due to a computational error" many people received this message in error. No Jedi for me, it seemed. So, I trudged on with Master TKA and Master CH while everyone else started grinding even more and role-playing less. 99% of the chat was how close you were to Jedi or how far in the Village you had gotten today. But, being burned like that by CS left me disturbed. Which led me to..........

City of Heroes. A bustling metropolis of good citizens and foul villains waiting to be shown a better way. I do like this game, but the repetition got a bit old. Love the capes though. Then, low and behold, they introduced Kheldians. Everyone stopped role-playing and started grinding for one. A pattern followed me a bit. Which led me to..........

World of Warcraft. Interesting to me, as it was both my first Mac and my first segue into Medieval type gaming. Interesting to say the least, but my highest character ended up being a Priest. I kept getting left behind in favor of Druids, who can use leather armor and healed better (at the time) than Priests did. Which led me to.........

Everquest 2. Another Medieval concept game, but a bit better, as the avatar creation is closest to personalizing my action figure as I can get. So, what can I say here? EQ2 does not have enough players. Having to solo 90% of the time is a bit dull and people just want to grind levels. Role playing is not done much at all, even with RP servers. Which led me to..........

Well, several games. I tried Dungeons & Dragons online, but requiring grouping and no recharge outside of Taverns is crappy. Dark Age of Camelot is hard to control and nothing is straight-forward there and chat channels are almost impossible to understand. Which led me to..........

Star Wars Galaxies. Sometimes during these breaks in between games, I would reload my software and play a few day, but afte CU came in, I stayed away a long time. I came back just before NGE came out, but stopped during NGE, as I have no want to fly in space, but my Legacy quest is currently on Naboo and I'm stuck doing that to advance. So, I reloaded the free trial and am playing through it right now.

Is it worth coming back? Nothing I saw in NGE appealed to me, except finally getting the Jedi I was told I would almost 2 years ago. But, opinion has improved, albeit slightly, since NGE rolled out. This is the one MMORPG I loved, but is it playable at all or worth my money each month?

If so, send me an email and let me know how the ingame is going.

If you think I should stay away, send me an email with some ideas how to improve my funtime in the MMORPGs I have played or an idea of one you might think is fun that I haven't tried.

you say you doing the trial, are you having alot of problems like me?
lots of random crashing, item pics coming up as black boxes with a ? on them ,even when equiped?

but, if you still question whetehr to play after you play the trial, you could always just come back for a month, its only $15 after all
