One of my first characters that I put alot of time into had one flaw: When I was new to the game in the begining, I unknowly picked the wrong path at level 30. For the last few days I was emailing support to find out if anything is going to able to be done to correct this mistake I made in the future. Here is the support email I got in response:

CS Agent: Salutations, Damian! I am Agent Zhatia of Sony Online Entertainment's online Customer Service.
There are indeed plans for a "Path rehab", but such plans have been in the works for upwards to a year now. The Development staff has sought to create a means to rehab your paths, especially now due to the re-balancing changes. Will such a service be implemented anytime soon? It is VERY unlikely. The service is in only the planning stages still, to see if the recent tools for the development staff can assist in creation of that ingame service.
I thank you for playing EQOA, and I wish the best of luck in your continued travels and adventures.
?-Agent Zhatia
Sony Online Entertaintment

I replyed to this email trying to get an idea of when the release of this update will happen, but Zhatia wouldnt open his mouth at all after telling me this. So all we now is something for path rehabs is coming.

I thought everyone knew that

Well this mail From Zhatia does not suprise me. Anytime I send a in-game mail I always get a bunch of mumbo jumbo from a CS agent stating nothing. They are trained to talk in riddle. They always repeat your question and never add an answer.

As for Zhatia I wish he/she would go back to fetching coffee for the bosses and not be a CS agent cause he/she sucks at it. I have had several lame tells sent to me by Zhatia over stupid stuff.

like this one time. There was a lvl 10 toon shouting he would trade all this lame crap for some items. So me being the smart a@@ I am I shouted I would give him 2 CV's and 20 million if he were to bring me Vox's Shaw. Not more then 2 seconds after shouting this I get a Tell from Zhatia saying he/she put that on record and I would have to pay up if he brought me Vox's shaw.

Needless to say I got pissed cause obviously I was talking crap and another thing there is no way a Lvl 10 toon could get the shaw.

I am sure other people have gotten similar lame tells from Zhatia. Someone should start a post on that.

Isnt the shaw no trade anyways?

Yes the shaw has been made no trade and the lvl 10 toon could have been a banker so he very well could of had it.

The character I wrote that email to support for just turned 49 and I been holding off on doing the 49 epic just incase the Path Rehab is going to be for toons with 20, 30, 40 abilities.. so I recently been playing on Alts now. One of the posts in this thread said that the path rehab was old news.. if this is the case, has anyone heard of any time frame of when it was gonna be availible? I only reason its a big deal to me is that this character is my favorite and I got like 700 CMs, level 10 crafter in 3 skills, & were-form.. so its easy to tell I put allot of time into him and I am so ready to start grinding again with him and getting his 55 tag and then getting him to 60 and doing the 60 epics. With the TP and CM rehabs availible now, I think it only makes sense to get the Path Rehab on the servers.. With the email I got from support, it seems the Devs arent sure how to put this into the game.. I think it should be something like when you rehabed, it will clear all the epic abilities on your toon, then you just have to do the quests over again and pick the abilites you want when you complete each quest.. it may seem easy since you'll have a much higher level toon doin the 20, 30, 40 quests.. but it will still be more work than just talking to the TP & CM rehabber NPC.. so if anyone got any more info on this.. please share :) thanks

I'd guess until you see it hit the update server (hagley) there wont be any chance of it on the live servers any time soon. Probably will be able to rehab all the way through 49 when they do so I wouldnt worry about it.

yeah yuo probably will be able to rehab the 49 epic ability as well.. but I dont really wanna risk it and my guide is kinda slow these days so getting a raid party to do the quest twice might be a challege. I am just using this time to build up some of my alts.. its actually pretty fun playing at those old grinding spots again.. I just made a dwarf rouge and I'm having a blast tryin to run to FP..it brings back memorys when almost all wildlife is red lol.

It gets fustrating going back to the main SOE site every week to read the Dev Report only to find that they arent even mentioning the Path Rehab yet.. With Class Balancing underway for awhile now, everyone had just about enough time to adjust their TPs & CMs. It would be nice if the option for your path came soon. Anyone hear any new info on this?

I hope they dont come out with a path rehab or make it cost a Million dollars to use. There has to be some consequence for your actions, blah blah blah, it was an accident. I heard it before and we all make accidents i accidentally erased my 55 lavastorm quest before I turned in the last piece, this does not change the fact that you have to use caution and make your decisions carefully. If you dont like a path take it the other way by making a new toon. I say tough ****. I mean whats next a Lycan remover so you can get rid of that unwanted lycanthropy? ***** that your infected deal with it.

I agree. Your path is your path. If it is crossed you get spells that are suited for that crossed up path.

I have a feeling that the lycan identifiers in Oasis are leading to a remover. My Warrior is full fledged HWH but I am infected with Wolf. Not that I want to be chased down in FP or HP for being a Were. I chose to be HWH a long time ago and I like it.

I have a feeling they are there just so you know if you are infected and therefore just need to worry about faction in order to get there. At least i hope so.
