Is getting a were form on a shaman worth it? My shaman will be 30 soon(hopefully) and i havent decided if im getting a were form or just sticking with my bear forms.
And if i should get a form what is best for a shaman?

Lion and bear forms give a good cha buff for healers so those 2 might be best.
i am a 43 shaman an im goin lionwere, shaman hav to use wis, sta, an cha, so were form is a good way to go, or at least my common sense tells me

depends on what your planning on in the future
if you wanna be a badass and can solo stuff Divine were-hunter is the way to go
but bear/lion/gator all add cha w/ the 40 buff

Lion would be best for shaman imo. the 40 cha buff is good and the extra sta/agi will help in defence/soloing
gator is strength and ac

So is it best to get lion form? im not experianced in this were stuff at all.
no need for sta/agi when u got avatar at 51 as well as other shaman buffs
Avatars usualy used on tanks unles your soloing. Shaman buffs cover all of the top 4 stats so a were form isnt necesarily needed to boost them
i wouldnt go through with the hassle of getting the form(form personal experiance) if i had my own form already. Its all up to you tho.

I went werebear on my shaman...could have gone just about any form except werewolf to get the Charisma self buf.
The wereform is useless otherwise since Shaman bear form gives stats comparable to a wereform.
Were-hunter might be a good idea. Not a form there so can get the benefits from it while in shaman bear form.

Were hunter is only useful for healers that want to do some damage, not saying that is bad, but the stats are minor compared to the ability.
I wouldnt say the sha bear forms are really compreble. They only do one stat but more hp max. A were form, except gator, gives 120 to 2 stats and 350 hp.

Well...the werebear form, unless you willing to buy the final form gives less than the shaman bear form. And with Shaman can buy Improved Bear forms for less CMs
And I figured any other form is about the same since it is just a matter of "which" stats a from gives you and you adjust your TP and armor to adjust for it.

bear does not give buff just hp 338 at 43 i am doin infect now at at 43 so at higher lvl im morepowerful shamans get a lot of aggro an hav three main stats so i would way say any were form would be very useful an those buff help especially when u are highest lv in a group
40 healer abalities
you have to do the 40 abality quest to get theese spells

Yes the werebear form gave STA and thus raised my power pool some..but power has not been a major problem since lvl 40 or so.
Resultant STR and HP are lower with werebear then shaman bear form.
The ONLY thing good about were is the lvl 40 charisma buf you get.
Now having said that....If you don't want to be a fighter..then go Lionwere...gives you STA and AGI so the added bonus of the AGI might offset the fact that your HP is a little lower in were vs shaman bear form.

I have a lvl 39 shammie and i went lion. I alternate using lion and normal bear form depending on the situation. In groups where I end up taking alot of hits I stay in lion. Groups where I dont I use regular bear form. Bite is an awesome Lycan ability. Cant beat that ratio of dmg/pow as a shammie. Since str mods the bite dmg regular bear form will add to it. Since we are such a diverse class this adds even more. I think its worth it. The 115 Cha buff is nice too. =)
