Clone armor quest for a rebel?Follow

i know that there is a quest for neutral people by talking to a former clone named mort in the cantina on talus in the city of deric. ive gotten to the part where you have to go to dantoonie and kill the guy in the house across from the hotel in the city of dee'ja peak. now and my nuetral friend started this quest together but after that part of the quest it changed his told him to go to jabba the hut on tat and mine told me to go to the destroyed rebel base on dantooine... am doing this quest with the hope of actually getting clone armor or am i doing this for no reason but the selfishness of an old drunken clone on talus?
