I had an alt PLed like this by a guildie. I would join his group, AoE the mobs, he would kill them and I would get the xp.

Uh, I'm pretty sure Charisma is a power pool stat for a third of all healers, which wouldn't warrant the "most" tag. For descrpition of yourself, see bolded.

Actually I am a firm believer that druids are not healers they suck ***. So they are not included in the healer catagory. This is a statment that i have made since they game came out and will be one that i will continue til after the game dies. This is also a statment that i have made on these boards many many times and in game.

As for me being a noob yes your right i have never played the game and got a toon past level 15 how did you figure that out?

oh yeah Druids arent healers they just get the same exact healing spells as Clerics and Shamans

Yeah. If you don't mind me asking, what are they? DD's? Tanks? Yeah, real nice idea. They only get the same heals as every other healer so they can just use their nukes. Usually dark, I agree with you, sometimes to avoid being called a pedofilic sex offender or whatever **** you come up with, but I'm sure even Warbladez can figure out that a druid is a healer.

Druids can be realy good there just hard to make properly. They get best nukes for healers, abality to charm, Group heals or debuffing dots, regular dots, wolf/fairys/tree forms(most forms for 1 class) and more i probably dont know about. ive only had a 26 druid(deleted) and a level 20 1 now.
I like druids there the rarest healer class tho(on ppo at least)

You must be talking purely about buffs, cause their nukes are way better (even after the dex nerf) and their heals can be the same, and better than a shammy's cause they can stack heal if you went heal path. Buffs though, do suck, just not up to par with shammy's or cleric's.

Hi people and btw as you can see Im back.
I have a question for you: I made a tank and got it to lvl 35. I had no power levels unless you count help with some of my higher level (25+) quests. Would I be considered a "plood" if I received power levels by my own 40 until 28 and by a freinds 40 until 20? or would my work on my originaly lvl 35tank balance things out.
(I did not stop the 35 because it sucked but because all of my old freinds had 60s now and all my orginal freinds had 3 60s)
#87 Jul 09 2005 at 11:25 PM Rating: Decent
well as long as you know how to play your toon i don't consider you a ploob

I just dont see what the big rush is to hit 60. People who get power leveled lose out on important events in the game. Getting trained then ******** about it after, plotting revenge, meeting people, having a good time when you pull way too many mobs and you actually win, Finding new xp spots. It's the journey not the destination that makes the game worth it.

Take nmuk for example he had his level 5 timmyinawell toon every night in freeport it would just not be the same if he didnt level him to 5 on his own.

Druids are similar to rogues they pull serious aggro with there damage and buffs the skins have insane aggro. But there 2 hit wonders, its a wonder if they live past 2 hits. Now im not saying one healer is better then the other i prefer shammy's for the over all package they have buffs, debuffs and pets do damage. Clerics well they just sit there and buff and heal. I have tryed out 2 druids, one got the name banned at 23 due to some *** not liking Inheat as a name. And ihugtrees got em to 33 i tryed them and i just find shamans and clerics better over all

Sure they pull big aggro, but by the time you get two hits in you should have healed. Unless you mean two real hits, not two quads. In which case if you die from those your definately a ploob, or a ******. I had very low health on my druid because I focused on CHA and my power pools, but I could live long enough to get a heal off and wait for the aggro to cool down. The problem you said about buffs, really seperates the stupid healers (and rogues/wizards) for the good ones. You need to manage aggro. That means not using your biggest heal unless you have to, not buffing mid fight no mattter what. And not blowing all of your attacks at once (for wizards/rogues.)

I have to disagree there. Druids regular buffs are on par with clerics and sha. Theirs do the most ac then a bit of HP and power. Clerics do just hp and ac. Shas increase more stats, but are easily overpowered by other buffs. Now I wouldnt put drds up against avatar, or a resist path cleric for buffs, but on regular buffs they are on par with them.

Ah. Well, even better. Druids are great healer. And I stick to the whole stack-heal thing. They can heal better than shammies, and just as good as clerics.

I would like a well built cleric over a Druid IMO. Druids and Clerics both pull a lot of aggro, but if a Druid get's hit, you better hope to god he's got a lot of stamina. A Cleric, however, wear's plate armor, and many of the cleric's I've seen are now becoming Clanks, so they have a lot of Stamina and/or agility. This way, if they get hit, the tanks dont have to smash thier heads against a wall because they let their healer die.

Although, I would really like to group with a high level druid, with their charm over by the Kobold Slayers. A friend of mine (55 Druid) invited my level 41 Cleric (now 43, but whatever) to go exp at the slayers. He just wanted to have someone boost his xp up, but I was getting about 300k per kill, and about 3 kills per minute. It is sort of like being PLed, but I think I know how to play my cleric to get a quick little PL.

Back on topic :

I want to say, whoever uses this sort of pl is either a ****** or a stupid ***. Why not just pl regularly? It would be way faster than dropping and joining groups mid-fight.

Please if anyone pl's, do it with cm's, and learn to level appropriately. Especially if you are a healer or a tank. Tanks have to learn agro control and healers need to learn heal and agro control as well.

I think we can all agree that leveling or grinding for cm's is a very monotonous and boring task. (to most) But the grind for cm's will be there well after you hit 60. So why not get some of those needed cm's from a pl? I never level my toon when I am in a pl, I always go 100% cm's. Just a thought.

Powerlevels are not for the new toons. If you have a few 60's and want another one, go ahead, you probably have enough knowledge about the game to do so. But for new people just starting, it is not right and will show ... believe me. You will be known as a ploob.

And to the original poster.... Please do not come here with these exploits of the game. This is cheating, no ifs, ands, buts about it. If someone saw you doing this, you could get reported and banned and/or suspended.

im speachless, nice work thig. and i agree as well. if you are going to be pled, make it so you're cming. that way, instead of having ploob tanks, we can finally have tanks that are better than before.

just one more thing i'd like to add, don't ask someone for a pl. i have been on my cleric where people would say:
Ploobtank tells you: please PL me!!!
You tell Ploobtank: ... Uhh, NO!!!

Gets very annoying when people ask you to pl them, if not tell you to pl them. It's really annoying when they say they'll pay me to where my armor, but they just end up going afk and i end up paying for the reps myself.
