Hey,
Im doing hte mission where I have to follow a smuggler in Dantooine space (this is the quest that Ultimately gets the DC15 rifle/carbine)
So i find the smuggler and his YT1300 ship, and I follow him (I was about 5000m away and I was closing in) but when i catch up to about 3000m, the ship Hyperspaced and im left with Mission Failed. What am i doing wrong?

Id be sure to get a ship that can go faster than what your using. it seems that you are just not getting there in time.
You could try to find out if the spwan is near a Hyper Space Point and then hyperspace to that from a different system, Although if it is a random spawn that would not work.

So if the ship im following is a Tier 2 with Tier 3 ships escorting it, I wont make it with my tier 1, starter ship then...
