I was reading the previous post about switching characters to different accounts/galaxies. I am aware that you have to pay to do this. Does this mean that when you first start the game, you choose a galaxy/server/account for your character to be on? Are you not allowed to change this? What happens if there is no one playing on that galaxy/server, and you want to change? Arent you a bit stuck then?

No you can't change it, once you start your char, they'll be on whatever server you started them on. Unless you pay SOE to move the char to another server.
But you can have 8 chars per account on live, and 3 chars on testcenter.
So you can have more then one char, races, classes, and etc.
Ok, thanks for the info. One other question. Can you have each character you create on a different server?
You have to have each character on a different server. The only way to have more than one character on a server on one account is to get Jedi and unlock your second character slot.
