I'm not sure but I heard that a player Jedi can be placed on the bounty hunter terminals so the player bounty hunter can trak and kill the player Jedi? I think this is right but can someone clarify this for me?

Yes, a Bounty Hunter can get Bounty's off a Bounty Hunter terminal for player Jedi.

Jedi do lose a lot of xp when you kill them. Just an ethical point I've not made my mind up about yet...

If you wanna be a jedi at that time you will have too face the threat of being hunted down. The jedi were near extinction well they ain't on SWG that much now hehe.

Jedi gain visibility by using force powers in public, or having their lightsabers out, basically just by being Jedi.
I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly what it takes to get put on the terminals but force running through the starport waving your lightsaber around or dueling in the streets will definately get you on there.
Just being around other people, even your own group or other Jedi while being Jedi like will gain you visibility. NPC's are included in this as well.
Jedi used to grind solo on Endor a lot cause there were good spawns of high level creatures and not many people around to cause you to gain visibility. Now since the CU they mostly have to group to sucessfully grind (I think, I'm not a Jedi) so I'm not sure what they do.

You gain VIS by using any force power near a player or NPC.If your killed by a bounty hunter you lose at least 50k xp each kill.If a bounty hunter is killed by a jedi he loses the mission plus 6k in credits.I only use my jedi for space missions now (I have not been killed yet)It's pretty tough doing ground missions with a group of 5 master BH's tracking you all the time all a BH has to do is add you to his/her friend list to know your online status.

So after 3 weeks i should be off terminals then i'll go back to regular SWG play.I thought making jedi was going to be fun but it's not worth it..just my opinion.

When killed, the xp lost is depending on how many skill points you have used on jedi skills. so a fully templated jedi can lose very much xp. And since i have been jedi since october, i have learned to know the bh's and their ways to track you down. Trust me, there are several ways to avoid beeing killed... But the bh's make this game so much more fun, imagine a game without bh's, you would see jedi's everywhere! (prob even inside ID tents..lol)

The only way a Jedi can avoid the BH terms is to hunt solo. Believe me, it's really slow. At lvl 40, I get around 300 xp per kill, needing 200k for a tier 1 skill.

I wish they'd change the group viz thing...at least when Jedi hunt together.

My advise is if you want to be BH go for it. If a jedi is on the BH terminal then he is fair game. Truthfully as stated above jedi's will know when they are and 90% of the time it is their own choice if they have created Visibility, they will be hunted. All people who became Jedi know this, it is part of being a Jedi.

Before any Jedi starts complaining about the skill loss etc, my advise is simple, either stay off the terms or dont be a jedi.

And yes, I am a jedi, unlocked just after pub 9 (5 free unlocks for the village), so I have ground up my template and know what it is like. In fact before I had a novice box I was killed twice and at -20k XP.At the end of the day if this happens you get on with it.

If you wish to be BH do it, its part of the game, any jedi who complain about XP loss knew what they were getting into when they became jedi

He said after he unlocked, in other words, he was done with the village, and was at the time a Jedi.
