I cant log into eqoa and it says "Errors were encountered while updating. Please verify your network settings are correct and try again". My isp is fine so I'm wondering if anyone else is having this prolem. I also cant get to main page, is something wrong or am I just screwed?

lol, I really dont know, but I may be right... try contacting SoE by phone, they'll (try to) know what to do.

Before you do that make sure your disk isnt scratch and redo your game connection. On the title screen where you had the option to tell the game how to log in, delete that and redo it.

The only time I've encountered this problem, is when my disk was dirty/scratched, or if my memory card had been switched by mistake.. always double check it all before going through the monotony of redial of SoE. :)

FYI: the network config tool on Eq disc dont make it as well as the network adapter startup disc does, like, testing the connection before saving. just sayin lol

joel actully it does same thing jus a diffrent format of setting it up

actualy there the same exact program the only diference is that the eq network setup has a eq background and the network set up disc doesn't

I have always used the set-up on the EQOA disk, rather than the seperate disk, and I have never run into a problem... One of my good friends used the seperate disk, then watched my set-up process, and there is very little difference.. I found the EQOA disk less confusing for my blonde tastes, but they work the same :)

Wiping the memory card of the internet file and EQOA/EQOA:F files usually does the trick for me. I usually use the EQOA internet setup, as I do not use the PS2 with any other online game. (well, sometimes, to see the empty servers in Twisted Metal Black Online, sigh!)
