Wizard BuildFollow

Made a wizard. I need to know how to place which stats. So far I figured that I only need Sta Agi Dex and Int.

What I did was focus on Int in the begining. It gives more power and does not increase aqggro like dex does. Around 20 I started adding to dex, I did this so that dex wasnt so high to keep pulling aggro from tanks since they only have tuant. Around 30 sta is more of an issue to get enough HP to survive a quad. Agi is of little importance, if you have extra points this should be forth in line after the other 3.

By the time your 60 a good wiz build would be like
250dex
250int
250sta
(if you can get all of that lol)
only 250 just so you can unlock all 5 of the stat maxes for those stats, of course if you can get them higher do that

I would not put agi into a wizard.
That would be like putting dex into a tank.
Your nukes will do so much dmg as it is, There isn't a real big need for a load of dex.
Int will give you more power than Dex will and allow you to stay in battle longer.
But then again, If you go oom in 3 fights cause your nukes just aren't getting the job done, Maybe pump a bit more dex.
I kept Dex/Int close to each other on my Wizard(within 30 tp's)
I have not put any into Sta. If I need to I will just wear Hp Max armor. Might put some tp's into Sta at lvl 50+, I don't know yet. Not to worried about my wiz right now. Working on my Shaman

keep dex/int pretty close and add sum sta so u got more hp than my 36pally at lvl 20... dam guy if he wasnt my banker/crafter id delete

Problem with this reasoning is early on a wiz will eat mana like a business exec pounds Rolaids, so you want as large of a power pool early on as you can get. As for the dex modifier, that isn't applied to a wizzies lowest level nukes. Early on they have the same dex mod as other casters, 30%. When they get closer to the mid-range levels they start getting their dex mod increased to 70%.

As for agi... you're wearing cloth armor with a decent self cast ac buff from pet. You're still going to take a beating without some outside help. Up to you to decide though if you want to try to rely solely on agi and no real noticeable armor to reduce the damage you take or to try to suck it up with more HP.

Also, something that lot of people new to high agro nuking don't think about when it comes to power drain and constantly drinking after a couple mobs... that slows things down big time when you kill a mob extremely quickly, then have to wait 2 mins for the wiz to get back in the fight again. Try dropping down a spell set or two for your nukes. It'll let you chain almost indefinitely with a large enough power pool, reduce your aggro, and keep the group flowing smoothly.

Just put everything in sta, you'll do fine.

But what I was saying is if you start off building your base int before your base dex, you aren't costing yourself much damage at all in the beginning, but you'll have a much better power pool to work with. Lvl 20 I believe 10 dex is still only adding 3 dmg to your nukes, but at the really low lvls where a nuke can take off a bubble of your power with a crap pool, having a decent base can keep you in the fight longer, and then once you're set, you can start jacking your dex second to bring it up.

Ah well, just trying to give various viewpoints. To each his or her own. Personally I prefer to work just int, dex and sta in that order myself, no agility also unless I can manage to max all 3 and have tps left over.
