NOOB needs help.Follow

Hey guys,

Some very simple questions here which after looking at the form for 30 mins I have yet to find the answer to.

Questions are as follows,

1) How does one increase there combat level? Do you just kill everything and then buy your "level ups" form the artisan trainer?


2) What does skill required mean when it comes to weapons? How do u get the skill? I mean the skill level from what I have seen is either a number or a word. How does one get to those levels?

3) If you have a negative faction standing with either the republic or imperial, does that affect you from joining them to start questing?

4) Where is a good place to start questing? DO you need to be a member of a faction?

I think I will stop there for now.
