As anyone else noticed a huge increase in the population? I play on bloodfin and it seems that I can't go anywhere without running into huge groups of people, most of which are noobs. It has gotten so bad that my friends and I are avoiding Tat because all the people make it lag. Just needed to vent, but if anyone has any suggestions on how to change my settings so I wont lag as much, any help would be great.

Well, im one of those new people that decided to play after Episode III came out. I as opposed the the "newbs" you talk about read up on the game first so I didn't earn that horrid label.

I don't know why people are complaining, from what I've been reading SWG needed more people because it was going downhill. All newbs eventually turn into regulars.

First people complain that the servers are empty.

Now they complain they are too full.

/sigh

It used to be there was not enough people, now there are too many! Ayyaya!

Lol, anyways, it has also gotten some new attention with the commercial and the G4 stuff (It was the AtoS LAN Party game, I guess). Also, the total experience is pretty cheap and I'm pretty sure comes with a month. SOE is trying to ressurect SWG I think.

I think it is great to add players to the game. If we all help them, they won't be noobs for long. Lets hope that some of them become crafters, lol.

most people concider people that are new no matter of skill to be newbs. they also think that people with low combat levels are also newbs. Im only a level three but i have been playing for over a year, as an architect.

The more crafters there are the less the vet. crafters make. Long live the Vets!

Don't get annoyed with them. Remember... the children are our future (or something like that).

The price of "all three games" is what made me come to the game. This is the first on-line game that I have ever played. I like it, Yeah I'm really, really, really new, but I tend to stay out of the way of the "vets". I mean the people that got it when it first comes out paid 49.99 or in some cases more then that. I paid 39.99 and got the latest game (basically 3 for less the price of one). I work retail and trust me... Price means everything. The people that pay 49.99 are big fans of either star wars or on-line playing and have some sort of clue of what's going on. Then you get the people that pay 39.99 (like me) and have no clue how the game works or how the whole on-line setting works which causes what you guys are talking about.

On behalf of the newbs, SORRY!

:-)
